I still have my pioneer stereo with cassette deck, cd player and turn table. I have an 8 track tape player to hook up to my stereo and all still works. I kept all my 8 tracks, all my albums and 45s, cassettes, and cds. Great music back then

The albums made me nostalgic for my younger brother who died in 2019 at 52. When we were little about 11, me, 9 him, he joined the marines, thru an ad in a magazine, and ordered the complete work of Beach Boys and Sam Cooke. Cod! My parents were not thrilled. Man, I miss him.
I'm so glad you did this ,We have been doing Estate Sale clean outs since March,and I wanted to cry when I think of all the stuff we got rid of until I started watching Bolo Buddies,the Nurse Flipper, and Etc.'s channel,..but now that I seen yous ,..and I think about it,.. your right ,$5,$10 adds up,..and we get alot of old Vintage items,from cloths,to tools,to hard goods,.,here in Montana,..it's hard work doing the clean outs,but it's fun,.Thanks for sharing,.I learned alot from you
What I used to do when I cleaned foreclosed homes for the banks I used to take everything, and the last day I Post all the paint and chemicals for free On facebook or craigslist, sometimes I didn't have to touch none of that :) Those records tho...nice find!
I saw an ad in our area sponsored by an estate sales company looking for someone to do essentially what you're doing - come in after a sale and keep/dispose of everything in the house. I don't think they'll usually have the variety of items you found, but I guess the challenge is finding out!

yea we have tons and tons of stuff - i have 2 storage units that i operate out of and my dad has a large shed at his house. - we are redoing his store for more storage we actually got way more then we thought

The hummingbird sundial is supposed to look like that, it's an artificial patina to make it look older. It was never meant to be a bright shiny brass color. And you have to check the golf clubs carefully because they use a variety of metals in making them, including titanium.
I hope you both keep track of what you sell from this haul. I have several hundred of the 78 RPM records from my parents. I see so many tools that my dad has that I would love to have and sell because he always took immaculate care of his tools. He also has one of the first shop smith s ever made

That’s awesome,m two of My sisters worked at things remembered at the mall here in Indianapolis back in the late 70s early 80s, I miss the mall I grew up in the arcades and all that good stuff lol
Look up Connee Boswell. She and her 2 sisters signed with Decca Records and only recorded 3 records. Singing became a business and Connee's 2 sisters wanted to concentrate on their families. Connee had contracted polio and was paralyzed from the waist down. I listened to a few of her songs and she has a lovely voice.
You can sell those used VHS tapes esp if you can make a big lot with cheap media shipping. Got a lot of 60 used tape for free off FB marketplace - owner used to record a radio program that aired overnight and recently converted his collection to digital. (audio guys always use the premium tape :-)
I would love to have the yard stick from Ocean City NJ. Grew up 10 min from the Campbell soup company in Camden NJ. Let me know if you are selling it. Please don’t toss.
TBT... save those jars of Nuts, Bolts, etc... the price of these things is getting astronomical, especially Metric! I worked in Hardware, even before things got weird, hardware was expensive. Hand tools are highly desirable, especially drills. Awesome stuff, great video. ☮️
Alright had to read all the comments but the thing you want to look for in that Led Zeppelin II is in the matrix (middle etching part of the record) is an RL (stands for Robert Ludwig who mastered it). The record company didn’t like the mix he did because it was “too hot” so it’s rare and valuable. Also that Bruce Springsteen - Born To Run is worth good money because it’s a Half Speed Mastered.

You should have a yard sale with the stuff that’s not worth listing on eBay. Even if everything is 1$ you will make a profit and clear it out.
