Any reason why the configuration wizard is not reading my wheel?? I set up and saved the main settings and shifter but it's not letting me do all the tests in the wizard. Any tips?

I think in most cases it's how the game is reading the device through Windows, or it isn't, it can work one day but not the next. If you can try another USB port on the PC and as it says in the video above make sure Windows can see your wheel before you start the game and don't use any controller options in Windows while the game is running.

I need a full beginner series from you. Youre seriously the only guy who cares about beginners who want to get into sim racing.
Every other "beginners guide" goes straight into modding. Man im here trying to figure out why my car is sliding all the fricken time. Wont steer for shit either and idk what to do anymore
EDIT: Thank you so much! I wrote my initial comment right before going to bed. Reinstalled the game and followed this video step by step. My wheel finally acts as it should, the driving is soooo amazing!
For some reason my wheel went crazy and start shaking my whole desk 😂 had to turn my pc of super quickly

Most common issue with AC and controllers is the way Windoze reassigns USB ports. This causes AC to think a controller is added or removed.
Turn off power management for USB ports is one of the first things I would do with every PC build.

Some minor crackling in the audio while going through the wheel setup, might be EMI (doubt it) or the new PC that I'm still getting used to. Anyway your patience would be appreciated 😉
First time I ever started it. And my car went full bananas and the throttle was going 110% and brakes 100% and the wheel vibrating so much.

Just what i was looking for! Trying to setup my Logitech G Pro wheel and saw that there was no preset for it. This helped a lot. Thanks.
if your onn a pro like me keep the effects off or 5% or lower, they exaggerate the effects that the wheel already picks up, also stick filter at 20% in game and 3 on ghub
make sure you run the wheel at 11nm in ghub then turn it down in ac, i run it at 35 then tune it car by car if i need to using the ingame ffb app.. there are loads of lil apps you can use, i highly recommend getting content manager.. its the reason why ac is the sim thats taken me down this rabbit hole

Thank you very much for your guide. My g923 just arrived and i dont know how to set it up because it worked well with forza horizon 4. At least now i know that it's not faulty, just me not knowing how to set it up

@@MotivationTrendsLaughswhat is the issue? How is your wheel connected to the computer, directly into the PC motherboard USB or a USB hub? And does Windows itself detect the device as a controller device?

my wheel in a every game is fine but on here its just turning real fast
it could be that the rotation value of your wheel in Windows is not matching the wheel rotation value set in the game so make sure they are the same

What is the difference between Asseto and Asseto competizone. Right now the regular one is on sale for 90% of. Should I get it?
Informative and helping, espessially for TS-PC users. These wheels are rare and not many use them.
Also, Davy Jones, you are/were missing some controls in your Thrustmaster driver - Advanced mode. Update it.

I did everything in the settings, after i saved the profile and load it when i left the page a message popped and it says my wheel is not connected but its recognized by the game and every input works fine but when i try to drive nothing moves can you help me pls? thank you.

hey i done the same what i done was install the Logitech g hub and it works if you are still having trouble :)
same lol. turned out i had to turn the pedals on in the app to get it to work.
G hub didnt do anything to help unless i hit the pedal app.
Thought i would try out the toyota 1st as it looks more like a street car. that thing slides around all over the place lol. even on straights and the pedal to the metal the back end flips out. its like driving on ice. 1 bend i had snails overtaking me and the back end was still sliding all over the place. 2.20 on the monza 66 road track. took the arbarth out for a spin and got 2.01 on my 1st try even with a few mishaps.

Hi, sorry don't follow the reference to make a preset and then use the configuration wizard, you should just select a controller profile on the left that matches your wheel and use the wizard? Or maybe it doesn't matter... Not sure why the option doesn't appear, seems odd

So day 1 i plug and play and everything works except brake pedal. On software and in game wizard and in car i couod move steer and shift just no brakes. I take apart pedals and reassemble and brake pedal works now. Still registers in software and in game wizard and key binds. But when i load a race and get in car nothing now. Wish i couod go back to at least driving without brakes like before. None of this makes any sense
Don’t understand why forza can just recognize I have a damn wheel plugged in and just figure out what buttons do what…… or how gran turismo is perfectly set up for g29etc

You have to make sure the Logitech g hub is set up. Then you have to go into AC settings and do the setup wizard. You may have to invert the accelerator or clutch pedal. After that you should be good to go
I've been having an issue when i accelerate the wheel used to shake but now its stuck centered no detail at all its very obvious in a f1 car its like the kerbs dont exist and worse when it lock left or right when drifting
great video but just to be clear. see my problem is that the brake pedal is not only the brake but at the same time the acceleration and my acceleration pedal is nothing. so do you know how to fix that?

When I go into controls, the configuration wizard doesn't highlight. I've tried the MODE, nothing. Tried Pressing SHARED & OPTIONS, nothing... Unplugged it and tried all again... Downloaded the driver and firmware before I tried setting this up.... I have a PXN v900, not sure where to go from here...

For some reason, when i tried to to the configuration, the game just don't recognise my wheel, but in in main settings i can see that it detects my wheel, anyone knows whats might be wrong?

Whenever I press drive it never lets me go with my pedal
For some reason my throttle was set at 0% so make sure the slider is all the way to 100% like he showed for the clutch.

I recently bought the force feedback racing wheel dlx and when i can open the configuration wizard but it wont react to me pressing the button so i cant play with my wheel, any help?

With your clutch it seemed to be halfway and when you pressed it down it it went back to the left 8:20. Mine is stuck at half way and when i press down it goes full and back to half way again. Do you know why this is ?
Not sure. I think I was using the axis invert option. Have you tired using both invert on and off? Does your clutch behave the same in other games?
@@DavyJonesSimRacing i have tried the invert options and i wouldnt know if it works on other games as i only have forza which wont match my wheel profile or something. Struggling to be able to play driving games atm.

Sorry don't know - check that Windows can detect your wheel first and before entering the wizard make sure that your wheel is detected in the game

Ok when I am doing the wheel wizard, when it says centre it, there is no button to press. It just has nothing there so I'm stuck at that part. Goddamit :(
Check the other video linked in pinned comment here. If your PC can detect your peripherals correctly then AC should also be able to do so.

I see and read every comment. I created the video to try and clarify the wheel setup process but I still get so many comments from people having issues with devices not being recognised, onscreen elements not clickable or they cannot start the car or change gear. It's an odd one.
Is your wheel recognised in Windows?
Once you are in game have you been able to load a controller profile from the list that appears on the left?
I am guessing that if your wheel is either not detected by the game or a controller profile for it isn't loaded then the config wizard will not function....

take your time to setup the wheel and make sure it is connected correctly

The track layout on the upper left of the screen doesn’t show for me. How do I get it to show up?
It's the Track Map app, from the app list that appears in the sidebar that pops out when you mouse over on the right

If you are using a wheel and pedals what brand is it? If it is Thrustmaster the Mode button on the base can be used to swap those pedals, you long press on it and the button changes from red to green.
Or it might be the check box to the right of the pedal inputs, I don't recall what it's called right now as I am not at the computer, it relates to combining or separating inputs.

Honest answer? Invest in a controller, even a used Xbox 360 controller will do...

Try to calibrate pedals, or use the invert option for the pedals.

why does my game brake while im not holding gown the breaks. i have to press down on the breaks to not break if that makes any sense lol. its backwards for me
Pedal axis might be inverted, check the controls settings
