After many short trips and working out any bugs it's not hard to turn something into a daily driver considering that was its original purpose in the first place.
True to a point, although a 1926 car was breaking down every day when it was brand new. Lol. 😂 Scoops as a great example of what you’re talking about though It’s pretty reliable, and does fill in nicely for a daily when my others are down It’s just not as comfortable to drive, & somedays thats definitely a thing. Thanks for the comment
I spent a fair amount of time researching parts for the 54 today. Specifically, the engine. 1954 239 Y-Block. One year engine, almost zero support. My plan has been to get it running well enough to be somewhat dependable and I still plan on playing with it for a bit. But I'm feeling a 302 or 351 may be in its future. I will probably do a talk about it on my channel next week. RAWK!!
@@MyKARSShop I'm kind of getting busy enough that it is hard to find time to catch up on watching other videos. It is not a bad place for a TH-camr to be. I'm hoping for the cooler weather to cause more of that. RAWK!!
If I still had my ole 62 VW bus, I would probably be debating turning it into an electric bus. There have been quite a few of those conversions, and the one thing I hated most about that vehicle was how dang loud it was inside. It was also pretty slow. Both problems would be solved with an EV conversion. Of course doing that to one of those rare buses would be considered blasphemy by some. It's all moot anyway, I don't have that bus anymore. 😮💨 Until next time. Make it Safe, Make it Done, 👨🔧&🚘 Go Have Fun❣ Stay hydrated, safe, and healthy. 🤟RAWK!

Thats gotta be the best mindset when driving old cars: something is going to fail, just plan on it.
Exactly.
Great Mike...Great episode Rawk!
Thanks, Brad
