If you have to mark a Verse be very careful not to cross a single letter.
Learning tajweed was honestly one of the best things I've ever learned. I'm not perfect at it but I'm definitely miles a head of where I was 10 years ago when I first started taking a tajweed class.
@Mohd Fahad Asis Khan AlHamdulillah I was very blessed to have a friend who has been gifted by Allah with many ijaza in various qira'at and I learned from him (offline). Currently I'm going through an ijaza course with him so please make du'a for me that I complete it, that Allah accepts it from me and that I am then able to teach it to others once I have my ijaza to benefit others and myself before Allah. For now, a friend of mine who learned to speak Arabic suggested the online course and they also teach Qur'an reading so you can perhaps look into that. The website is www.markazbayaan.com/
I grew up speaking Arabic (not the actual Arabic but yeah) and I understand some words but reading for me takes so much energy I literally feel so drained after reading a few pages of Quran. But I still persevere and I'm feeling like I've been reading a bit faster which is nice! I feel like unless I know how to read properly I cannot to tajweed cause I don't want to mess up the words I did see the tajweed signs in Quran from your videos and I've been paying extra attention to them so as not to mess the meaning. So Jazaaka Allahu khayran brother

I just wanna say that learning tajweed is not so hard, although it takes some months. I'm not a certified tutor but I've been learning tajweed since I was a kid and today I tutor new Muslims on that. I'm a girl so if you are a lady who also wants to learn tajweed, we can probably set up some time to learn together.

When I started to read Quran again, I wanted to read it properly. So, I decided to learn tajweed by watching videos from Quran learning channels like this one and listening to some Quran recitals. With the helps of الله, a little by little I gain so much confidence. Yes, learning tajweed is indeed one of the best things I’ve ever spent my time on. Yes, I’m still far away from being so called a good reciter but الحمدالله I’m making so much progress and I’m much better than I was a year ago.
Brother, thank you so much for all the effort you go through to help us! I’m just currently struggling from having suffered from OCD for years, so learning tajweed is really difficult to me. My thought process wants me to have these all perfect so I can avoid the sins, but going into a rabbit hole and wanting to learn ‘too much, too hard’ will make the obsessive compulsive part worse. BUT, I know that the beauty of Islam is trying, because no one is perfect, so I hope In Sha Allah I can go about reading the Quran, the best way I can but learning more tajweed when I can, when my mind is in a stronger place.
