I'm a bit late to this video but still I'd like to share my view as someone who lives in a country in which Snapchat hadn't been a prevalent app for communication up until recently. Growing up I have never used Snapchat I downloaded it once when I was 14 to try out a couple of filters and deleted it in a matter of 2 days. I decided to try it again because a lot of people my age started using it and I am truly baffled by its stupidity. The fact that there is even an option for Snapchat to publicly announce your location at all times, the concept of a snapscore, and as Ben talked about in the video the "content" it offered, not to mention how clunky message exchange is in this app, I find it unbelievable that anyone would ever be interested in spending time in an app with no notable personalised algorithm, mindless TH-cam shorts-esque content (even worse) and the messaging experience being random classmates sending you pictures of their wall to raise their snapscore... it's all so ridiculous (seriously who actually cares about snapscores though 💀)
Capitalizing someone’s death with always make me so angry for the lost, as well as their loved ones. How insensitive can you be to want to make money off of that.

(there's prob better platforms out there for groupchats but sc is mainstream and good enough, like discord is great for larger groups but not everyone has that)

I was tryna watch my friends story when I saw this one guy getting a tattoo removed and I have trypophobia (it’s like when a lot of little holes are together and it’s disturbing asf) It’s literally so nasty af (the app I mean)
I just ignore the Snapchat discover Storys But Pinterest is not better but harder to ignore because the ads are hidden in the middle of the pictures I want to see
The fact spotlight have made you be able to pin comments but you still can’t even reply to a comment you have to hunt through comments to find any reply
