Remake de Viaje a la Luna de George Melies realizada en 1908 por el aragones Segundo de Chomon.
Pelicula coloreada fotograma a fotograma superando incluso al original del que está casi calcada.

Primer remake de la historia, encargado a segundo de chomon. ¿para cuando una edicion en dvd con sus obras? Hay mucho que ver de este genio.

Grande Chomón; aunque es una reinterpretación de Melies, no deja de poner en claro que Chomón fue uno de los precursores de los efectos especiales en el amanecer del cine.

Curioso remake del clásico de Meliés. Cumple su función a la par que nos ofrece una revisión de la obra original, si bien no supera la magia del mago francés. Aún así, no deja de ser interesante.

Aunque sea un remake de Melies, honestamente creo que Segundo de Chomon fue un pionero del cine, sobre todo en lo que a efectos especiales se refiere.

Es una pena que a lo largo de la historia del cine español todos los grandes técnicos han tenido que irse de España para poder desarrollar su trabajo.

Acaba de estrenarse la versión (y extremadamente rara) en color (y a mano) de "A Trip to the Moon" de Melies, que descubrieron en 1993, y es hasta hoy que la lanzan. Incluye "nuevo score" por el grupo Air.

Nya, I think there were no laws about it. In any case Segundo de Chomón was a huge fan of Méliès, so i no wonder that he wanted to pay tribute to that figure. In other of his works there are small winks, but this version of "Voyage dans La Lune" is the most evident homage.
There were others who copied Méliès for money matters. Chomón was the only one who did it because he loved his works :3

A contract is required between the original author and the producer & film director, with terms like (just to name a few) : protection of rights, derivative rights, right of representation, right of reproduction, exploitation rights, and then, the most important, obviously, the remuneration rights, with a percentage on revenue and so on...

Segundo De Chomon era en mí opinión un Farsante Ladrón: Le Robó viaje a la luna al mismísimo George Mellies!! Eso no se hace: si el hubiera hecho una saga con temática espacial propia habría sido excelente pero el muy Zorro Le Robó al mejor cineasta y mago Francés . Que Maldad Poco Original
