Your video is really clean! good job!
I just would like you to notice that to acquieve this in just a few clicks now
    - select the 2 slides you want to share
    - File > Make a copy > Selected slides will give a new presentation correctly formatted with just the 2 desired slides
    - the first slide, as it is the original, has to be kept linked with your original presentation (that way if you add some stuff on it, your students will get it also)
    - the second slide as to be unlinked, so the students could edit it freely without be annoyed
Then you just have to share the url to this new presentation, with the replace "edit" by "copy" in the url
And that's it, the students will get a new copy of this 2 slides presentation each time :-)

I want to do TODAY IN HISTORY in Google Classroom where students check out a single slide and check in when learning remotely. I have a Google Slide file with a couple of months of slides. Are you telling me that to share a single file every day in G.Cl., I have to do a separate file for each slide? Can't I just share a single slide WITHIN a slide presentation?

Hi Leslie! Unfortunately, there is not an easy way to share just 1 Slide or a few Slides from a presentation. For me the easiest thing, is creating a new presentation with the slide(s) I want and share that with students (as shown in this video). I have been researching Add-Ons this week to see if I can find one that will allow me to share one or a few Slides directly from a presentation, but everything I have found has really bad reviews and a lot of the comments say the Add-Ons don't work. If I do come across anything, I will be sure to share what I find here on my TH-cam channel.

@@Vestals21stCenturyClassroom Thanks for your response. I just created a folder and made individual copies. It's all ok. Cheers!

Does it send my real name, because I use my real name on my account

Hi Luna! Thanks for watching and commenting. I am not sure what you are referring to. When you share a Google Slide, it doesn't send your name. Can you provide some additional information about what you are looking for?

Vestal's 21st Century Classroom like does it like have my last name, because I don’t want to reveal that

@@lunagacha45 Students should not be able to see your name when you share a copy of the Doc or Slide as I explain how to do in this video. They should only see the document name when you share the copy. If you go to 4:06 of the video, you will see exactly what students are able to view after the copy is shared.
