Henrik the r8 and the r11 are not even in the same league as the platinum 500 ll, that speaker totally annihilates both of those speakers It's not even close.
My God, those R3 Arrete speakers are incredibly sweet with a seriously low noise floor. I am currently powering a pair of Focal Electra 1008 BE’s with a Hegel H90 (60 watts) with Sound Engine 2 technology. Cardas Parsec cables connects the two. I direct stream using Tidal to a BlueSound Node 2i connected to the Hegel using custom made Douglas Connection Alpha Silver coax cable. I say all this as background to my question: Would I be doing theses speakers justice by simply inserting them into my current set up? Would I be better served upgrading to say the Hegel H390 or Rogers, Tskaridis our Line Magnetic tube amp? I could not afford to do both simultaneously.
Whilst I think a home demo/trial is the best way to determine that..... at least try getting your Hegel to a dealer to hook up to some Audiovector ..... R3 are such an easy load, I am fairly certain the presentation will be fun.... Good luck👍🏻
Hey Philip, I’m planing to get the exact setup as you’ve mentioned. Audiovector R3 Arreté with Hegel H390. Actually I wasn’t able to listen to it, but think that this would be a tremendous configuration.
@@artosaariSRB you'd be better off with the monitor audio platinum they're much better than the audio vector they throw a wider more three-dimensional sound stage and the bass is a lot tighter and faster with the monitor audio platinum as well.
@Chris Richards I know people that swear by Monitor Audio, but I'm not one of them. I tested a pair against Trianlge and Amphion. The MA were more great, just too clinical sounding.
Great soundstage and bass from such a small footprint. This pair seems to sound much better than the MBL's you demoed. Bass and highs are much more smooth and crisp.

Audiovector speakers are the famous models made by Lowther which were and remain the tops, which together with the original Lowther TP1 were among the physically most complex speakers ever made. Here's what real Audiovector speakers are all about - th-cam.com/video/pyZ4ipMYPyI/w-d-xo.html The use of "Audiovector" nothing to do with the Lowther company or fullrange concept is misleading and the company is in this respect an imposter.
Terry I do like the sound of the audio vector but in my opinion the monitor audio platinum throw a much wider three-dimensional and more enveloping sound stage what is your opinion cuz you've heard both
Man, that set up sounds awesome. That bass is so punchy, clean and deep!
I love my audiovector r1 arrete.
One of the very best standmount speakers today.

according to one reviewer big deal

Love my Audiovector R3 Arreté... With this latest R range they have pushed things on significantly.
which amp and cd player u are using with R3?🙏🏻
they have improved them quite a bit but they're still not as good as the monitor audio platinum unfortunately and more expensive

Could somebody help me to figure out how they manage to setup two edge w ?

probably not quite that level but I am sure the Audiovector team will be happy with that feedback

Tannoy come up with that idea the grounding cable you can adopt that to any speaker
This is interesting. Could you expand on that?
@@JuanLega I can't definitely say but the first speaker to come out with a grounding post was a Tannoy
