if I didn't already have a competive product this one looks good! I mostly like the shared location aspect so Im glad this one also has that service as an option
@@MoreDirtMoreDistance I do...been using it for 7 years...got it for my cross state solo bike rides. it does not pair with a phone but I just use it for quick messages, the SOS feature and the 5 minute tracking intervals posted to a website that my family has access to.......trip was cut several days short but what there was , was really good. the 8 month old puppy did great on the 17 hour drive there and then back with a pitstop every 3 or 4 hours! and no motion sickness type pills were needed.... flying to denver on october 23rd for a 3 day hike with school friends going back to the mid 70s..
@@MoreDirtMoreDistance finally got to do Birdseye Gulch! some areas I am glad I had lockers for as there were som washouts on steep short climbs with loose rocks! probably could have done it without but being solo didn't want to risk it....sadly the gopro died so all I got was garmin dashcam in timelapse for it.

@@DeanJohnson67 That great! I liked Birdseye Gulch. It so frustrating when the GoPro dies.
