I’m using these for the first time in a shower with subway tile. Having a way to bring tile flush is a game changer for me. One thing I’ve found is they pop off easily with a good whack but if you place them too close to an interior corner it’s difficult to get enough force to cleanly knock them off. I’ve used a dremel with a tiny blade to carefully cut them out. That’s my only complaint.
i never thought of the inside corner issue you mentioned. My projects didn't include that scenario but thanks for the feedback! I'll keep that in mind on future projects too👍🏻 p.s. I like your profile image 🕊️
Good work but I can't believe you covered that beautiful brick with that ugly woodgrain tile! I've been doing tile for thirty years and thought I better learn how to use these new spacers everyone is using.
i was really surprised how well they worked! i figured i'd try them on a small project and worst case i'm out $25 but i'm sold! definitely never tiling without them now haha👍🏻
Used these, and they do not pop off that easily, they leave plastic sticking out, they are horrible! I am going to have to use a soldering iron tip to melt them down so they don't show.
sorry you had a difficult time, they worked 100% perfectly for me on a couple different projects and I'm going to be using them again for my porch tile next month👌🏻. maybe it's operator error in some way? Good luck with your future projects 👍🏻

Beautiful video, good first visual to understanding the spacers! Thank you!
glad it helped!🙌🏻
Lowes sells a pliers like tool for snapping the top of spacer off.
a completely different tool for a completely different task

that brick is so stinking outdated. Time for a change. thanks for the view👍🏻
@@stuffsethmakes That brick is timeless, like God, Sex, and the Bill Of Rights! Still good work though.
Those are cool! Never seen anything like them before.

Do these take the place of grout spacers?
yep!
I wish they’d give honest reviews these are flimsy and very cheap don’t use if your tile is bowed or warped.
loved these tile leveling spacers. Sounds like the only thing flimsy and cheap are your tiles 🤣. Maybe buy better quality tiles next time 👍🏻
I agree, they are absolutely horrible!!!!
Why on earth would you use bowed or warped tiles?
seriously! 🤣🤣
If your tiles are warped and bowed, that is your problem my friend, not these spacers.
Good video . Get rid of the music at least while you are talking.
clarify what part of the video you're referring to.
First tile job in years and I saw these things...wtf.
they're great. I'm about to tile my porch soon and will be using them again. so helpful!
