It had no significant impact on the series) and switched out Oscar for either carpenters shutout in game 5 of the 2011 ds or us winning the 2011 World Series. Both were great moments. Overall. I think Chris carpenter’s masterpiece against the Phillies in the nlds should be on the list. It wasn’t just one moment. The entire game was like the last out of a World Series. 1-0 from The first inning onward. And the Phillies were “the” team that year. Until they weren’t and we were.
Interesting to put the game tying triple of game 6 ahead of the game winning home run a few innings later. But it’s true. The triple is no.1. I was there and the triple with two strikes… otherwise the season is over. By the time the home run came, we were all emotionally exhausted!😮
Although it was clutch. Texas basically gave him that rbi.. they played no doubles with 2 outs and a man on first and second. Jay probably would’ve scored regardless but it was a gift.
