CC is just on a different level than the rest of the league. Nice thing she is humble and isn't full of herself. She is a class act.

    • @Wraithlen
      @Wraithlen 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

She looks different (not color wise, either) in how she approaches the game, and her passing is stupid good, especially for a rookie. Best passer in the league by far, if not ever, already. Yes, the TO's are a thing but they are coming down, assists are up and that will only get better. EVERY star rookie gets better, period. She's torching the league the last 10-12 games and they can't do a damn thing about it. The team has bought into letting CC be the general on the court and Mitchell and Boston, etc. are thriving. Temi coming back...another big who can flat out run the floor will really push teams to have to go a bit smaller or simply not crash the offensive boards at all and just get back on defense. Now if they can just hold teams to under 85 points or so... :)

The biggest issue I have. Is that Caitlin Clark is playing against entitled black lesbian players? Not for the most part. I don't care what your sexuality is, but that doesn't give you special privilege. You're still playing basketball. It's not pro wrestling. Even pro wrestling is an oriel. Very seldom is their injuries. It's all fake, this is not fake? She's actually getting injured last week. And they condone it saying she's going up against real women. Real women don't try and beat the other woman to death. And that's exactly what they're trying to do

I don't particularly appreciate comparing anyone to others. With that said I cannot help but get a Bird vibe from Catlin. She is a Zen master on the court. She knows where everyone is at any given point. Like Bird, Catlin illustrates that she does not care who makes the basket. She is a team player making the whole team embrace and fulfil their potential.
Watch her or her record. Catlin is leading more than rookies in assists and rebounds. Points alone are amazing, but helping her team excel is next level. Please do not diminish the rest of the Fever. They are good players. With Catlin they are great. Having a team member knowing that this is a TEAM sport is amazing. Catlin is the value-added component that Indiana Basketball has needed for a long time.
    Thank you, Catlin!

As a (closer to 70 y.o New Zealander ) I'm a lifelong rugby fan, and l will always love that game.
However, for pure athletic ability and achievement Caitlin is hardcore WAYYYYY up their with two New Zealand female athletic legends that l rate as also very super special athletes at home and in the international community for their amazing skill and prowess in each of their respective fields of rugby and kayaking, Lisa Carrington and Portia Woodman.
Those of you who know of these other two amazing people will understand why l rate them as special too
(My apologies to ALL the other female athletes here in New Zealand... l privately acknowledged your existence, too 🙏

It's only a tiny subset of the league that she can't compete against. Using your logic, most players should retire and we'd be left with 2 teams.
The level in the WNBA isn't so high that it's out of reach for 40 year old. But things are changing with all the excitement around CC, and we can expect young blood to raise the bar in the coming decade, but it's not there yet. The game in the league hasn't been revolutionized in a single season, let's stay a bit real.

No she is not. Look up "Player Efficiency Rating"
"PER strives to measure a player's per-minute performance, while adjusting for pace. A league-average PER is always 15.00, which permits comparisons of player performance across seasons. PER takes into account positive results, including field goals, free throws, 3-pointers, assists, rebounds, blocks and steals and negative results, including missed shots, turnovers and personal fouls. The formula adds positive stats and subtracts negative ones through a statistical point value system. The rating for each player is then adjusted to a per-minute basis so that, for example, substitutes can be compared with starters in playing time debates. It is also adjusted for the team's pace. In the end, one number sums up the players' statistical accomplishments for that season. "
      All-time great season 35.0+
      Runaway MVP candidate 30.0-35.0
      Strong MVP candidate 27.5-30.0
      Weak MVP candidate 25.0-27.5
      Definite All-Star 22.5-25.0
      Borderline All-Star 20.0-22.5
In the last 10 years, 7 of the MVP awards went to the player with the highest PER.
In the last 10 years, 8 of the MVP awards went to the player with the highest PER.
      Here's this year's stats .
      1 A'ja Wilson 34.94
      2 Napheesa Collier 25.7
      3 Breanna Stewart 24.5
      4 Jonquel Jones 21.0
      5 Caitlin Clark 20.9
      6 Nneka Ogwumike 20.9
      7 Brittney Griner 20.8
      8 Dearica Hamby 20.7
      9 Aliyah Boston 20.2
      10 Alyssa Thomas 20.0
      11 Arike Ogunbowale 19.4
      12 Angel Reese 19.2
      13 Ezi Magbegor 18.8
      14 Tina Charles 18.6
      15 Sabrina Ionescu 17.4
We'll see CC in the running .... but I just can't see them going with CC (20.9) when the player with the highest PER on history A'ja Wilson (34,95) (Men's or Women's) .... not to mention ... CC breaking the assist (passing ball to teammate who scores) record by 5% kinda pales next to breaking the turnover record (errant pass to the opposing team) by 55%

No one else holding such a high level job in the private sector, would hold their jobs after time and time again, performing sub standardly. Time they are called out and we have to show the video evidence. That should also show the agenda and contempt most have for Caitlin too.

@@scottgarlow3377 I didn’t say she was the best, I said she was the Larry Bird… That is to say no one can match her from the perimeter. She plays the inside with wit and personality, she inspires the play of those around her and she is hated by all the jealous ho’s that can’t match her. Much like Bird.
