I am a fan of basketball, as well as one who was once much better than average on the court. Caitlin's breaking records in only her first year shows it is you (not the gentleman from a city I once lived in) who cannot see greatness unfolding. That you cannot see what the vast majority hails means you are either biased against her for some reason, or you know little of the sport. And, please do not tell me you said she was a marvelous player - backhanded compliments are not compliments, at all. In your attempt to slap the person from Amsterdam down, you look asurdly petty.

@@dansavoie5087 Stats would disagree. It goes both ways though. According to some stats Lebron is better than MJ, but 9/10 would prefer MJ any day of the week. Attitudes matter and are what make a team. You can be an all-star, but if you're a dick then no one wants to play with you or watch you. I think the #'s increasing says more about the girls who don't like CC more than it does CC (since the stats speak for themselves). There were many decent players, in manner of speaking, but they weren't fun to watch. When CC busts a layup, it is fast and accurate. Any good player can appreciate that. Being humble and admitting that there are better players out there goes a long way too.

And the league because all they are doing by acting a fool and treating her that way is chasing away the new viewers that they obviously don’t want when they’ve been begging for more money and more viewers. When those like yourself put an athlete on top before her first season is over, all you do is put added pressure on her. She has talent no doubt but she's not the best with all her turnovers and her plus - minus stat. She's not the best at shooting. She's the best at dishing out assists. She was player of the year in college and first pick of the draft but so was her teammate Aliyah Boston the year before. I believe CC will win Rookie of the Year
but so did Aliyah Boston the year before. The two top stars from college past two years and the Indiana Fever still has a losing record. But they will make the playoffs. Indiana is improving but if she was already as great as you believe her team would have at least a winning record. She's a star, no doubt but not not the best already. I love basketball. I haven’t been a real WNBA fan because the basketball hasn’t always been fun to watch. But I have watched many Sparks games, as I’m an LA fan,
Caitlin Clark is the best woman player i’ve seen. that doesn’t mean there aren’t other great players. she’s the best i’ve seen. she was the bomb in college-the best ever.
my favorite player ever is Magic Johnson. He was the best distributor ever, a great scorer, and started at center to win the nba title when kareem got hurt.
Caitlin is not Magic. But she’s great.

The jealousy of the old players is ridiculous. If Caitlin was black and being treated, the way she is there would be an outcry of racism. Shame on the WNBA for not protecting Caitlin.

Congratulations to you Super-C..!! What I'm looking at and following this amazing woman is knowing short of super special and amazing!! I too like most just never could get in to the watch Women's basketball!! Until Carlin Clark whom I call Super-C!!
I have had some great conversations with fellow athletes and we all agree, the best to senior women ballers can do is retire and watch this lady absolutely change the game forever! While showing, highlighting and mentoring other young stars this how we're going to play from here on out!!

If Caitlin Clark had made her punch an tight uppercut from the waist to the target instead of an unattractive strike from above down, she may have not been called for technical. For a number of reasons could take a little boxing training on the side while being careful of the hands, of course. Just sayin', can't hurt.
