    Thanks for sharing your knowledge and numbers on not having a car payment. I have a Toyota Corolla and I hope to have it as long as possible. For $1500 of yearly maintenance is a steal!

    Honda Accord 1998 +400K miles…Bought it brand new then realized I hate car payments.

    I have a 22 year old ford focus and it's been very reliable and the best part no car payment, i hope it will last me 10 more years

    $1500 yearly transportation expense over 22 years is a pretty good deal! I used to have a low expense as well and most of my techs drove nicer cars than me...esp here in LA lol. Ideally though...I'd prefer to NOT have a car but it's pretty difficult here. Maybe one day....

      Thank you for watching Rineil. Yes, replacing a car with walking, biking or public transit is nice Rineil, but doesn't currently fit my lifestyle 100% of the time in Los Angeles.

    Good finance decision but there is one big problem. It's not safety. I think a 5-15 years old good quality car better decision. Money not everything, safety more important. But it's only my opinion.

      Hi Mark, I think it's important to define what safety means. This car has never been in a major accident, has been maintained every year and had regular maintenance completed in 2021 (shown in the video). Safety in driving is typically related to the driver and not the actual vehicle.
