It's about being in your 20's, not too old but no longer a kid, and still having no idea who you are or what life is about but living through it all anyway. Finding enemies in unexpected places- sometimes that's other people, sometimes it's your own self. It's about being too hard on yourself, being unable to bear the sight of your own shortcomings, and the process of learning to move on from yourself and forgive who needs the forgiveness anyway. My interpretation, atleast.
Growing up and growing old and then till death do we part. The pains of life that make you hurt so bad you wanna give up and give in but you don't wanna live like that but you don't wanna die either. It is answering the question of to be or not to be, with to be but changing your life so you never know the pains of wanting to end it all. The wicked snakes are the thoughts inside of your head and you're thinking it's the honorable way out, suicide. But you want to live but not like this, so you change you. The dates in july is your entry into being an adult or getting married. The winter of my discontent is the ending of my soul in this body. The end, the beginning and everything in between. Life, life itself is no greater an adventure but we only travel this way once so make it a good life without doing any harm. ✌️
