Dip buying is not easy. I have tried many times and failed. But recently it has all come together and now I had my first dip buy green month. Thanks Roland. He is the real deal
This is the 3rd time I have listened to this one (Roland Wolf). I found it to very informative and a lot of things he has said turned on a light bulb in my head. I got tired of listening to people in the podcast that short stocks. I am not a short player (not enough in my account). One main thing I learned was to not buy dips on a big run. I have tested this theory and he was right, the drop keeps continuing and I ended up being a bag holder in my testing. I learned to just keep that stock on watch and wait a day or 5 days for the turn around to actually play it out. There are a lot more that he has brought topics on that has helped. Too much to get into. Learned patience and tolerance listening to Roland. Thanks Man!!!!
I really enjoyed this video! This is exactly what made me very profitable also. Simply follow the market makers... when they buy, really low, we buy and when they sell, we sell too. I used to be a momentum scalper and was ok profitable, but when I changed my strategy to buying extremely cheap, that's when my wins became BIG. It's refreshing to see a successful trader speak about the same strategy. Thanks for creating!
loved his honesty about how his failures really got to him , humble good hearted man that got that trial by fire and came out victorious after a world of pain. Good trades peeps.
I had problem comprehending trading in general. I tried watching other YT trading channels, but they made the concepts more complicated. I was almost giving up until when I discovered your channel. I love the way you break down the content and explain everything in detail. The videos are easy to follow❤❤
Roland is an amazing teacher and his motto "be a contrarian trader' is eye opening to say the least. Made me realize that I can stop chasing & learn to put myself at a better risk to reward ratio & have a real edge for greater profitability. Being a part of the wolfpack is amazing with so many amazing trading talent to share ideas & ups and downs... so many great things about this pack, especially because he just cares about his students 💖🐺
I really love these types of vids. Doesn't matter what form of asset you trade it gets really relevant when the trader opens up about his personal experiences and endeavors.
Shay/Roland this really hit home for me. Excellent interview. Most of us here are really looking for real content and I think this was one of the most "real" interview that I have seen in a long time.
Studying under Roland has really helped my trading and psychology. Great video. Thank you both for being generous in sharing your time and knowledge ! Time is our most valuable asset.
Note on repair trading when you are a trade that turns against and you don’t short, you sell the rally and reposition in that position. Got to learn how to deal a losing trade, not just intraday trading where the stops are tight ❤
I am "super human, I am not a super human but very human" for me that comment alone shows that he is really speaking and telling what he honestly think is the truth. Thank you Shay and Roland.
6:47 Roland trades like me. I studied my ass off and am now successful. So many people told me I trade like Roland and I was like WTF he trades like me. Day 1 Reverse Splits got me kicked out of STT DIT, buying the retrace, getting out on Bohens signals, not buying in on HOD when he tells people to jump in. I'm also doing longer time frequencies to let a Small Cap run I also trade in the first 30 minutes going into After Hours and beyond.
Did one year of STT Pro and following Wolf's terminology, all Bohen was teaching us was how to be "Billy". Did learn a lot from Huddie's weekly webinars back then though.
What an inspiring story and mentor. This is the type of guy I’ve been looking for to learn from. This game seems to be full of people who are disingenuous, and who are looking to make a buck off of their social media presence. We need more people like Roland.
Love you Shay! This is the podcast everyone needed. Learning at a different angle and a very intriguing and interesting one at that. I love it! I am a follower and listener/watcher as long as you keep it up!
I've watched a lot of trader interviews and been following HT for a while. This is one of the best I have watched. Thanks so much for the information and for this content.
I mostly short after failing pre market gappers long big time after 2020 but this wait for max dip thing looks very smart I fail dip trading but waiting maybe days for the pre pop low then long never occurred to me brilliant Roland
Good tips. For me I take no risk. Trading within the known trading bands for consistent wins. Identify stock which has biased to upside or downside first is more important to decide to short or long. I only trade high volume stocks with good volatility.
That last point you made around the end of the podcast of things just tending to align over time, experience, strategies you've practiced etc, makes so much sense 💯
I appreciate all the hard work, perspectives, and voices you share on your channel. It was inspiring to hear Roland's story and I enjoy your intuitive interviewing style. Thank you Thank you Thank you!
Guys when markets go up straight for almost 20 years, anyone with a pulse should have made money. Like they say everyone's a genius in a bull market. Let's let humility and diligence reign supreme, and get back to doing our crafts, dabbling in wholesome equities, responsible bond investing and the like.
I can relate to him, I have girls that are 7 and I'm homeless. No drugs or alcohol at all not even cigarettes. I honestly whole hearted want to just survive
I like Roland's approach very much. I am new to trading, but as I understand it Roland's approach offers really good risk/reward, but the down side is that the accuracy rate is much lower because small caps tend to just fade throughout the day once the move is basically over. In other words, there isn't always a bounce. Is this correct?
Excellent as usual fellow trader! Could you make a video ( or give me the link, if you already have) about profit percentages per trade / on a daily or weekly basis that we should aim for at least to be sustainable? Thank you!
Excellent analysis, thanks! 👌 Just a small off-topic question: 😅 I have a set of words 🤷♂️. (behave today finger ski upon boy assault summer exhaust beauty stereo over). What should I do with this? 🤷♂️
Dilution trackers - where is this info he was talkin about available....? He mentioned tons of sites....not seing any-except DT(around the 30minute mark) Great video
Funny, i think exactly like this, dude. And do exactly the same. Except i do shorts, too. Just no short on small caps. Wow, I'm amazed that i feel more comfortable that way, too, and not alone at this thing.
HUGE epiphany I am buying someone's short sale strategy..every trade I have taken that has been successful was always going for the double bottom with a curl, panic dip buy, or right when news comes out and then it would be a lucky trade if it continued if not I would have to cut it fast..HOLO I got really lucky but only held from pre market to nine dollars missed the entire $50 move!
We need to be careful now as the general market is biased to downside due to decreasing consumer confidence. Nasdaq is having a good run BUT if we start hearing faltering sales on AI the runway will be shorter. AI hardware is only for the realms of big corporations. Not going to be affordable for the mass market.
though channel is good and guests and genuinely trying to convey their strategy but for newbees its very hard to grasp without some visualisation and some consize paragraph of what you are talking about. basically after each block of questions especially one that include strategy itself would be helpful to put a slide with few bullet points and paragraphs describing in short what exactly they doing. and maybe a chart with an example of the trade or ask guest to prepare it in advance and send to add to the video. cause however the author of the channel quickly understands everything that guest trying to explain, some of us on the other hand would actually need guest to elaborate further or in some other words. or just simply in short cause sometimes ofc its hard to answer question in just few words as it is live recording but the train of though getting lost in some parts and overall becomes not clear in general..so thats why suggest either repeat in short everytime in a clear way or better yet put additional slide somewhere at the end of the block of questions or at the end of the video that would sum up the most important strategy points with at least one or two examples. I mean I do understand it might take a lot of time actually to do it clean and clear but otherwise some of the ideas and parts of the strategy remains unclear really. thats not to offend anyone but personal preference of what would simplify educational process

Yo Roland. I’ve been at trading for a bit over 4 years now. Still struggling but your story and information has helped me A LOT. thank you brother
Roland, weren't you a partner of Edgewonk in 2017-2018? Why didn't you mention it?
Likewise!
Thank you Ronald. Such a motivational interview. I enjoyed it so much. God bless you and Shay.
Hey Roland what website do you use for dilution fundamentals

This guy is the most honest and relatable (for me ) guy. What a player !!
This is my all time favorite interview so far Shay! He was so humble, honest and genuine. I wish him continued success…
Great interview as always!

I too loses money 99% of the time buying hot runners on dips expecting it to come up again and become bag holder and loses even more.

Tim Sykes has influenced alot if traders, and down to earth traders. And this channel is getting so much better. Great work

I love his phrase buy low sell high because that is, in simplest terms, what we are doing, and some are bothered by that!
So brilliant smh 🤦🏻♂️
@@daimu7971 maybe for you its complicated

Roland Wolf... Best mentor in the business!
Very smart, just buy at dip and take your profit. Dont force IT!! SIMPLY STRATEGY
Studying under Roland has really helped my trading and psychology. Great video. Thank you both for being generous in sharing your time and knowledge ! Time is our most valuable asset.
Our pleasure!

This is all I do. Learned it from Raiden Sky and mastered it like a boss. Works in any decent market really.
What an inspiring story and mentor. This is the type of guy I’ve been looking for to learn from. This game seems to be full of people who are disingenuous, and who are looking to make a buck off of their social media presence. We need more people like Roland.
Excellent Interview, KISS - Keep It Simple Stupid and Buy the Dip, Small Caps Give the Biggest Moves
What to buy and when to buy are the key
If I see a small cap have a sudden strong move in a day chances are it will follow through the next day for a quick trade. Good luck
Love you Shay! This is the podcast everyone needed. Learning at a different angle and a very intriguing and interesting one at that. I love it! I am a follower and listener/watcher as long as you keep it up!

shay, the colors on that shirt fit you so well 😍
1:11:00 He's saying "don't chase illiquid stocks". Great interview!
Sometimes those subtitles just don't get it right. smh
Excellent interview, it confirmed some things I've been considering with my trading. I took pages and pages of notes! Thank you both
I appreciate all the hard work, perspectives, and voices you share on your channel. It was inspiring to hear Roland's story and I enjoy your intuitive interviewing style. Thank you Thank you Thank you!

Another one! Great interview, Shay. I always learn something new. We could all use trader therapy from time to time.
This was awesome! I learned alot and will continue to stay tuned...that Nasdaq tip was insane! Glad I paid attn the whole time. Thanks Shay and Roland
This is the best interview from Wolf, but I am surprised of one thing that he did not curse even one time in his interview! hahaha
Learned some tips! great interview!
Right away I think I will like him a lot because short selling to me is seems 100 time harder to learn and execute, did anyone feel the same?

Question for Humbled...why you stoped using trade ideas and can you make a video comparing TI with your new scanner? thanks!

You ask good questions in harmony with his trading patterns
Wow Shay, you've done a wonderful job of finding great people to interview. Thank you and best wishes always!

For a starter trader..... all is really abacadabra

Wow, I'm amazed that i feel more comfortable that way, too, and not alone at this thing.
Hello, can you please tell me which one of your videos that interviews a trader that short small caps?
Thank you.
Does your scanner has alert when there is a volume ?
Thank You always learned something new from your interviews
The question never asked is how do they hedge daytrading, do they have bonds? indexes? Gold?
thanks to both of you!
Good stuff it’s a wild life huh Hum ❤

Do you use a trailing stop loss or an automated trailing SL ...???
Is it possible to be a successful day trader by only taking long setups without ever short selling and no leverage/margin?
great vid Shay. Thank you !! Keep it up. !!
Inspiring interview !
Talk about stocks and how to make money
......👀
Some interesting, and thought provoking info.
Thanks for sharing

at one hour and eleven minutes, you list point three as "liquid" stocks and he said "illiquid" stocks. That's a big difference
There’s a movie here Rolly !
This is such a great discussion! Heads up that at 01:11:05, he's saying don't chase "illiquid stocks".
yesss
Best video ever!!!
I was green on AISP.

Roland! Yes!
Finally! awesome interview ❤
🙌
Many thanks Say, Roland for a great video!!!
Glad you enjoyed it
Thanks
love yr videos.... yr a Gem !🎉🎉🎉🎉😢🎉🎉❤
This guy is Awesome! 😊
Roland actually said "don't buy *illiquid* stocks" (low liquidity stocks), not "liquid stocks" as it says in your subtitle!
Don't just speak concepually show some charts to illustrate to make it worthwhile for 1.5 hours of watching the video.
Why is being short more risk than being long? It just a different side of the same coin🤷♂️
Long can only lose to Zero Short can lose to infinity
Roland, weren't you a partner of Edgewonk in 2017-2018? Why didn't you mention it?
