I love this story. True love’s kiss being from the best friends is perfect! They code done parent and child or siblings…. Just so nice to show something other than the boy saves the the girl and thus boy and girl are in love.
See, the first book was the best this series ever got. Wasn't the greatest, but it appeased the targeted demographics. The next few books they just kept trying to recreate the 'magic' of the first one, which ended up just getting redundent and overused. It goes from good to evil, boy and girl, then goes back to good and evil and honestly it should've just stayed a solo book. Though I will admit, from what I can remember, this movie actually kept pretty accurate to the books.
Wow, this is actually WORSE than I originally thought. The morals are completely backwards and twisted. This is like a lesson plan on how to be a narcissist. The charactures of people they make are horrible. This isn't spy kids cheesy bad, it's seriously morally twisted. Both heroines have pretty screwed up morals which the "adults" just keep affirming.
So you missed the point? That the evil guy pretended to be good. That he then perverted good into evil. (Like some religions pervert the Bible) It’s very common for bad people to take over something good. As it’s hard to create anything. But easy to destroy. Hopefully if you watched long version you might catch on.
@@larrythompson8630 No I didn't miss that. And they didn't even make it an actual "point". None of the good teachers had any actual good in them. The main character sure as hell didn't have anything good in her, aside from don't kill and virtue signaling. Even the first "Good" brother didn't act good. He was a naïve simpleton. To write a story like that you NEED someone or something actually good as the contrast. No one was even close! As for everyone being "not perfect". Of course that's the case. But they STRIVE for better. Even that didn't happen. The only place they "strove" to was a different form of narcissism. This was a HORRIBLE story. It felt more like a sociopaths take on good and evil.
@@sirellyn I don’t think the movie explains the point properly but in thr books it said that good had BECOME naive and complacent as for two hundred years they had won all the fairytales and this only happened because the ‘balance’ ie. the evil schoolmaster killing his good brother. In my opinion the movie isn’t rhat good and doesnt explain it’s points as well as the book does because they added useless scenes and removed the ones that were amazing.
My sister really love this, like first book or something? But after the part like 1st season a new enemy arrived. And its the man/boys/male. My sister said like its really stupid that it became male vs female and she didn't continue
Having read the books I will agree book two is the really stupid one. But it gets better again after that. with a war, and cheating, trickery and deceit as in the books Tedros has to prove himself worthy of exaliber and pull it from the stone to become king.
Well it's woke washed and seems rather vapid. Seems like a higher budget version of a bad CW show. Thanks for the preview, I can definitely give this a miss.
Wow, I don't believe I would have been able to sit through this nightmare in the full movie, I found myself skipping ahead every few seconds just to make it through the recap. What a boring and completely nonsensical story. The premise at the beginning was pretty good, then it just went downhill FAST.
Wow, Charlize Theron? I've never seen a bad movie with her in it. I did, though, notice how the idea of "white man bad" is embedded in here. That part is disappointing.
Thought this was sky high when I clicked, miss those days 😢😢
I loved sky high
Same
Sky high is a little Itty bitty movie next to this lol.
Me too 🥲
Sky-high but in medieval times
It was subtle at first but I noticed Agatha's face getting more and more beautiful as time passes
Yoooo facts
"lets train heroes to protct the world"
"but its not epic enough"
"ok lets train villains to"
thats not the plot bro😭😭
1:53 dude straight speed ran the kidnapping
The monster snatching her like that made laugh my ass off😭
All of them had fairy tail names except for Ted Ross who sounds like an accountant from Bristol.
He pronounced it wrong. His name is Tedros.
I love this story. True love’s kiss being from the best friends is perfect! They code done parent and child or siblings…. Just so nice to show something other than the boy saves the the girl and thus boy and girl are in love.
Frozen did it. Mulan sorta did it.
Maleficent did parent and child
Great war in the books:💀🔥🔥
Great war in the movies: two brothers fighting in an arena💀
I didn’t know such movie existed. Now, i wanna watch the full movie. Thanks for the recap.
Sophie really bitch slapped an eldritch being engulfed in powerful flames
I thought this was Candyman from the thumbnail.

Everyone: Appreciating the movie and telling how much they loved the story.
Meanwhile me: From some angle, Agatha looks like Lalisa. hehe

There are multiple forms of love, so true love between friends is also possible, and has its own power, separate from the true love of life partners.
Candyman + Sky-high + Harry potter
Sky High my hero Academia and X-Men LOL
ohh I've always wanted to watch the School of Good and Evil! I read the books and heard that a movie came out, but haven't seen it yet.
The wish fish scene mad me cry 😢
Feels like Hogwarts. Has the self writing book too XD
Sounds like *Sky High* but with extra steps.

Agatha annoys me from the beginning
The longer I watch this, the more I agree.

I like the goth boy who was sitting next to Sophie.
I thought the school master was gonna give them the red pill
Good story, but dude sounds like that guy from rick and morty who reads that story on that purge episode.

My advice to you young folks. Be NEITHER. It's a setup .
Then name of this movie is the school of good and evil and I allready finished watching this with my family
I thought this was lord of the rings
This movie is like the PJO movies.
Good alone but fails to recognise the importance of the source material and so is bad.
The first book was nice, every other after that was the same story all over again. But i feel like they kind of dumbed the movie down. 🤔
Wait this isn’t a Candyman recap
This isnt sky high
