I wouldn't be surprised at all if there was a future Broadway revival of BATB that included the new songs from the live action movie. I was skeptical when I heard they were added new songs but I ended up loving all three for different reasons.

she's such an awesome person too - I was fortunate enough enough meet and interview her at a con and she was so sweet when I got lost and was late to the interview

Thanks Benjamin for doing this. I always wondered when BATB ended on broadway back in 2007 why Susan never got the full respect and reputation for being the first Disney Princess on Stage. Now she has after such a climate change on broadway with more princess shows, people now discover her amazing talent and portfolio.!
Wow, i can't believe I cried listening to her singing. She's such an experienced vocalist, every pitch she hits it hits the spot, this is my ASMR.

Omg! Where did this come from! Thank whatever gods assembled this. I got to see James Barbour on Broadway as the beast but missed Susan Egan. I've kept a VOS copy of her singing on a Disney on ice special with James Barbour. A copy is on TH-cam, if you haven't seen it got must.

Megara from Hercules is all I knew her as - "I Won't Say I'm In Love" is one of my very favourite Disney tunes. It was a joy to learn that she had played Belle on Broadway, and took some of the sting out of her not having her own "solo" Disney Princess song ;-)

I would have been more willing to suspend my disbelief and have her play Belle in the live action film than watch Emma Watson in the role. I love Emma Watson, but a broadway voice isn't something that can be made in three months of voice classes.
Sarah If ABC ever does a live television production of the Broadway show (which I personally think we should've gotten instead of an unnecessary live action remake), they should really go for an unknown.
Oh I agree wholeheartedly! I would have also loved that for the film, this was just comparative to Emma Watson, who again, is a phenomenal actress and person, but this just wasn't a huge win for her in my eyes. Susan Egan could play Mrs. Potts in a live tv event ;)

That was my one major critique: I wish Emma Watson was a better singer. Her acting was perfectly fine, but her voice sounded like it was played on a keyboard.

This is amazing Beauty and the Beast was my very Broadway show as a kid my parents where worried id be too loud and annoy people but i sat still and quiet as could be that was just the 1st of so many shows since then and started my love for musicals
