I’m waiting to order some parts to build out my Marui AKM, to a modern configuration.
I’ve swapped out my inner barrel to a 250mm maple leaf crazy jet, autobot hop rubber and I use the jaeger precision hop up arm. The thing slings .30g bbs on green gas at distance!
Once I get my externals done, I wanna run it in CQB, cause I mostly use my MWS! So it’s been great to hear your thoughts and views!
Also vector optics, great choice! I use them on all my Gbb builds with 0 zeroing issues! 💪
Can't wait to see the comparison between this and the VFC AK that's coming out.

For sure, in particular the front heavy nature of the replica was interesting. If I pick one up I may look into getting a heavier stock to balance out a bit more?
I do plan to get one myself. I already have an AKM with a lot of mags, and it would be there when I absolutely need to go tacticool.

@@MaydaysanAirsoftI think everything together makes it looks great, everything is so modern and slick. The stock has a nice slimline to it and the grip feels very ergonomic. The mlok hardguard isn't anything too long, the right length and fit. Though ironically I do plan to eventually change out the stock and grip on mine lol just cause I've seen some stuff that's caught my eye like wanting use the magpul zhukov stock with the Pic adapter and maybe a driven arms ak scg
First airsoft gbb i've ever owned... and that thing is insanely reliable and good. played over 20 sessions with some lasting 3 -4 days in about 6 months and it is still running and is very tough

Also.. Ak's have Low Sight Bore.. if your havin problem using Optics whilst your used to using stocks as cheek rest.. Get a Better modular or higher Stock with adjustable Cheek rest.. Like Zenitco Pt-1 or Pt-3 or M4 Stock with high cheek rest 😉🤙
The 5KU Halo handstop works really well on the AKX.

It’s cool! But I wish they made a more simulated look. Like a Zenitco AK74M or AK105.
I know others make these, as a RusFor player, I own them from GHK and LCT. But TM is one of the best. So I wouldn’t mind seeing them make more Russian small arm designed airsoft toys. 😊

If you can get one get the bow master 140 purple rocket valve. I have that in my akx and it works perfectly. Puts me right at 95ms with the mags hot to the touch.
Changing the valves huh... It may be pushing it a BIT in Japan to that FPS.
@@MaydaysanAirsoft yeah depends on how much you heat the mags. At room temp in summer it’s around 83ms. Outdoor it gets to 95 if you leave the mags in the sun.
My first GBBR was AKX, ngl it's hot AF 🥵, but It's a quiet heavy on my hand 😂😂😂😂 . well gonna more exercise💪💪💪💪

there is no after market recoil spring thats is a real 120%
the stock one need a 900g of force to push
the bow master one need 2kg of force to push
the dargon workshop is the lightess one but still a 150% force
the Hephaestus is about 50% heavier than the bow master one
same as the mwc 140% once
i dont recommend to use a after market spring unless you cut a litter bit cause the bolt nob will break even stock bolt
Not sure what jules/fps you shoot at, but stating it "beams 25meters" seems so ignorant, not sure If I have a very different POV of airsoft here in denmark, but I feel like I can throw my bbs 25meters, and normal airsoft guns here stock at 1,6J shoots 50-60 meters. I would be SUUPER cool to have like a podcast talking about what people expect out of their airsoft replicas in different places all over the world.
edit: just heard you mention duster gass? is that like 0.5J? or something?
Also I kinda enjoy the video setup, with the talking while playing kinda thing, it did a good job keeping me watching the video.
Japan is .98J
25-30m is the gold standard for most engagements here. Usually gas guns with their stability/weather issues and gas cooldown they can reliability go to about 15-20m
On .25g it’s like max hop you’ll get 25m consistently.

You need to get used to running that gun up all the time constantly loooking thru optic w both eyes …. You know this though…. But it’ll eliminate the looking for dot, and over time you’ll get used to weight

spray the spring with WD-40 or silicone and it wont rust nearly as fast. everything metal will eventually rust its nature but lube will keep it good longer and wrap it in plastic or put in a zip-lock. cheers

Cut a few coils off your 120% spring and you're laughing! You just need "105%" to get better feel and a more responsive charging handle. TM stock is just a SMIDGE too weak

@@MaydaysanAirsoft running my AKM on Propane and my AKX on "duster" for indoors in Canada and on both i found the stock spring to be just a bit too weak leading to some unreliability and inefficiency

I carry 5! I think 5 is enough, 7 is max I think for outdoor.

it that foregrip the same size as the Magpul?. I Dremel out any material that's unnesessary or get in my way . if you don't have a Dremel you should get one it changed my life I didn't realize how much you can do. I shape all my pistol frames , holsters stocks and all kinds of stuff. they are really handy. cheers
I wanted to get the magpie one but it's like, 6000 yen. But I've seen the form factor of it and it looks great. Perhaps in the future.
I mean I shouldn't say it but you got the ak , loved it , failed to use it correctly, then say it's not amazing.. bet to differ compares to a mws there like having cheat codes , like the talk / game play style video tho
