I’m stuck between this property or Waldorf Astoria monarch beach. Any suggestions? Waldorf Astoria likes nicer but this Hilton property is cool because it’s right across from the ocean.
Tough choice, completely 2 different areas. We have never stayed at the Waldorf, but have been to the property and Laguna, Matt played golf there once at the Monarch. Waldorf is an amazing property and near Laguna and Dana Point which are beautiful and have great beaches. Laguna is quieter and more higher end than HB, if you know what I mean. Also, you will have to drive everywhere from that property. Hilton and the surrounding area is a little more lively and everything is walkable. Just depends on if you want quiet and more luxurious vibe or more lively with dining options, bars, and shops within walking distance. If you stay at the Waldorf, check out "1000 steps beach" nearby! Hope this helps.

I think you helped me narrow down my decision to the Waldorf! I love thousand steps! This is actually a staycation for my wife and my anniversary. We live in Orange County so not far 😊

Yes! It doesn’t matter which tower you stay in, you get full use of the hotel.
