  • Paris to Cannes by train, a full guide from start to finish! In this video, we will tell you all you need to know about an exciting trip across the French countryside on the TGV inOui train. This is the fastest, most affordable, and fun way to get from Paris to Cannes. Our journey begins at Gare de Lyon in Paris, one of the busiest railway stations in Europe, where we board the TGV high-speed train to Cannes. Get ready to be immersed in a quintessentially French travel experience as we speed across France at up to 320 km/h (200 mph).
    This video will show you everything you need to know about booking a train ticket. We will show you all the details and steps within the online booking Omio portal. Then our family boards the train and gives you an inside look at the 5-hour trip. From accommodations to tips, and amenities available on board, we try to show you everything.
    Finally, we reach the exciting city of Cannes, nestled on the French Riviera. Cannes is world-renowned for its international film festival, pristine beaches, luxury shops, and restaurants. Stay tuned for our video series on Cannes. We are so excited to be here and can't wait to show you all about it!

    It’s funny watching as a Brit as we use trains all the time and know the routine when it comes to trains. ☺️. But I realise it’s a novel experience for Americans.

      Yes, we don't usually travel by trains in the US unless you live in one of the few cities that have them, NYC, etc. So it is definitely a fun and different experience for us. We've been on several trains in the UK and Europe and always enjoy how convenient and fun they are for us. I think we should have more of them in the US.

      I'd recommend using TrainPal to buy tickets. Many cheap tickets to make your trip affordable.

    Hi Family! Im planning to go to Paris next april, but I am not sure where to go after.. Is it better going to Marceille, Cannes or Monaco? What would you recommended to me? I´d like to finish in Marbella at the end of the trip! Tks for share!!!.

      All great places! I'd spend a day or two in Marseille and then maybe head toward Cannes or Nice. From there you can take a day trip to Monaco and a trip to Eze or any of the smaller towns along the coast. Nice or Cannes are a good spot to catch the train.

    Not on same topic: but, we're looking to travel from Paris on train to Frankfurt; there is 15 min to the next train. Do you know if we need to got through customs at the Frankfurt hbf?

      Sorry, honestly not sure. Haven't made that trip. From what I've read since both countries are in the Schengen Area, there might not be any immigration or passport control at all. Good luck!

    • @mathieuc6193
      @mathieuc6193 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      As long as you do not leave the Schengen area, you won't have to get through customs, except in exceptional cases.

    • @DrErikEvrard
      @DrErikEvrard 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@mathieuc6193 Customs is about goods. Schengen is about immigration. But Germany and France are both in the European Union *and* in the Schengen zone, so you won't go through customs and also no immigration.

    hi how are you. You are a world traveler. You guys must be rich to travel from USA to UK usually its expensive.

    • @AmericanTravelFamily
      @AmericanTravelFamily  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes, travel can be very expensive! Fortunately, with Matt’s work perks, sometimes we can get discounted air fare. London is one of the most expensive cities we’ve been to, but worth it! Cheers!
