Sierra is my favorite Christine. I saw her when "The Shows Must Go On" played "The Phantom Of The Opera" and I loved it. She has a beautiful voice and you can understand what she's singing. Sometimes when someone is singing high notes, their enunciation starts to lack. She is so expressive too.
teenager or not, she was professionally taught by the phantom, he would have taught her how to control her voice like this. besides, i believe teenagers can still be capable of this with practice.
My father died due to alcohol poisoning when I was just 8 (I'm now 16), and this song brings tears to my eyes, because I know the feeling of losing a father. Miss you, daddy
sorry but i can't really understand why so many peole think Sarah is so great. she has totaly no emotion, her voice is so weak with no dept and warmth. maby it's because so many grow up with her voice as Christine that they get used by it. Sierra is just perfecte (Anna O'bryne btw is Great too). I totaly understand why Andrew Lord Webber thinks Sierra is the best Christine we're ever had.
Lisa Madeline Yeah with Sarah it's not that she's not "good" at singing but I just don't like the actual sound of her voice; I think it sounds kinda weird and too old for the character of Christine. ~:~
I think she fits the part beautifully. Remember, Christine was a ballet dancer turned opera actress. I don't expect her to sing perfectly. I think she pulls out the emotion in this really well. Also, she wasn't classically trained. I just really love Sierra because the emotions are to raw.
Nice rendition but Sarah Brightman did a better job. As an old saying goes "Nothing beats the original". Sarah's rendition was w/ such passion and conviction.
This song hits a little harder now after loosing my own father not too long ago, especially the line "sometimes it seems if I just dream, somehow you would be here" I've actually dreamt of my dad so much since his passing and in each dream everything seems so normal, like nothing's changed. But then I have to wake up and remember he's gone 😢
like her rendition: perfect

I agree with you 100%. I, too, watched her perform during our Covid-19 lock down and she brought tears to my eyes.
i get it.... mom died of tumors...crying now...
IMO Seirra's vesion of this song is the best!
Sierra fez a perfeição mais perfeita!!! Seria isso possível? Só ouvindo!!!!! Sara Brightman é gigante, mas aqui Sierra a superou. Bravo!!!!
, loving is sacrifice without regard for oneself.....
Oh is that right? Sarah B's voice is quite distinctive w/ strong vocal range. I'll have to find your faves and listen to their renditions. Thanks! :-)
Isn't her voice a little... heavy for Christine? She was supposed to be a teenager.
Pretty ure she is like 20 in the musical version.
youd be surprised ive heard singers in my high school hit these notes and sing similarly and we did a rendition of tpoto that went rather well

Mi commuove ogni volta che l'ascolto!:') fantastica Sierra,la Christine perfetta!

sarah in my opinion is technicaly good but could not provide the required emotion.

Sierra will always be my favorite Christine. Whenever I hear her sing the part, I am heartbroken I've never had the chance to see it live.
I like this girl, but honestly Emmy Rossum is probably the best Christine. But I really like this girl
who?-
