❤❤❤❤It is impossible to evaluate a person by his appearance, behavior, speech, family affiliation, which for some reason is unconditionally considered the greatest plus ... this is only the cover ... the cover of the big book that has so many pages that no one can read to the end ... If someone thinks that he was able to do this, I don't think he understood the content of each page accordingly... It is impossible to know a person, to read his soul, to understand him... It is impossible, and still we make conclusions based on outwardly expressed actions only. Often at first glance, who knows what depth and greatness is hidden behind a carefree person. No one can fully understand the human soul...❤❤❤
I LOVE THIS! Why hasn't she been in the actual show? She IS Christine--wonderful voice, beautiful girl, and she's a blond, just like in the book! And I love how tenderly Andre conducts this song, and how he stands by her holding his violin. It's almost like he's playing the ghost of Daaé, watching over his daughter as she sings this to him, trying to let her know that he hasn't left her side, that he still loves her and death can't take him from her as long as she remebers him. Just beautiful.
You have captured and commented on the essence of that stage performance so aptly and vividly. When reading ur comments you can actually visualize it..and yes she could be a perfect Christine...love her singing and her voice......👏👏👏👏
Its year 2020.... Austrália has been suffering hell. .... listening to this angel in Mozambique with a heat of 38 degrees truly melt my heart in tears.... thinking of my father that past away 17 years ago due to lungs cancer.... all my close family have gone to heaven and I am following my path in the company of my adoring Mom of 72 and my son of 14, they are my family in Mozambique. God bless André Rieu and all stars around him. God bless Australia a country I love and got to know so much after sharing time with a couple of teachers that came to Maputo Internacional School. I cried yes, but I also feel joy!
The most moving version of this ever sung. The spirit bottoms out and soars in all of the right places, the transitions perfection, performed with complete compassion. My first introduction to this singer, and she is out of this world.
I had never heard of Mirusia until two weeks ago...now I spend much of my time digging up her appearances on You Tube....she is an Australian national treasure.
I adore this song so much. I watched the DVD 'Andre Rieu Live in Australia' with my grandad and I completely fell in love with it. I don't care what music seventeen year old girls are "supposed" to like. THIS is simply magnificent!
This is by far the best ever perfomance of this song! I love Mirusia and have a lot of respect what André Rieu does. Everything is managed by his family. His wife and two sons, their wifes... And for Mirusia... She's so pretty and I think the best soprano ever! An angel with an angelic voice!
I have NEVER heard another opera/soprano singer even come close to sounding better than Mirusia's unbelievable voice !! I've heard them all over the years and of course this is my personal opinion. Oh, and also;she is unbeleivably beautiful!
I think this rendition of the song is positively breath-taking. This is how I imagine Christine would sing it, because, unlike all other version, Christine is MEANT to be an soprano opera singer, not a musical singer, or a pop singer, but opera. I believe Mirusia captures the essence of Christine's heartbreak in the song, and its utterly heart breaking and enchanting
When I hear this song sang by Mirusia I cry so much, because it reminds me of my father that I lost many years ago and still miss a lot. She has such a beautiful voice.!
five hundred jealous people disliked this video. "I could have done better." unto whom the universe says, "So why didn't you?" angry self deluded people poked the thumbs down button. Out of three million views.
Only the jealous hearted would dislike this voice...Or someone who has no ear for music...I had a mother in law who had no ear for music...we could be listening to someone in church singing..she would lean over to me and ask Can they sing?..lol...I never knew before meeting her...there were people tone deaf
A VERY special song for me, I was in a choir group and was singing this song 10 yrs ago when my sister passed away - I always cry when I hear this and sung so beautifully.
This is the best version of this song I have ever heard! An amazing performance that I cannot get through without bringing a tear to my eye...mesmerising!
What a performance! I love Mirusia's voice and especially her passion as she sings the final verses. I have never been a big fan of opera but Andre and Mirusia have changed that for sure. It's good to see young musicians who are in the opera and symphony. Andre is keeping the grandiose appearance and flair of opera alive and well too. Bravo! I like it.
This is the first chance I've had to hear the fantastic voice of Mirusia. OMG! I got goosebumps of delight. What an incredibly talented beautiful singer.
Her mother is at 4:05 and her both parents are at 5:14. This was the first concert they watched (and listened) Mirusia together. So it was a very special concert for the family Louwerse.
The first notes and I let the tears flow. One of my favourite songs from Phantom, Mirusia's voice brings the magic to life. I first heard her sing last night in one of Andre's videos, thank you for the gift of such beautiful music.
This song was played at my mother's funeral (in November 2018) specifically as we filed passed her coffin. My mother was just 54. Listening to his is far more difficult than it was before.
This was her first appearance in her home country since she joined Andre three years prior. Mirusia comes from Brisbane in Queensland and this show is in Melbourne in Victoria. She shows no nerves as it must have been a bit daunting for her. Her Mum and Dad are in the audience as well. The clarity and crystal voice that emanates from her mouth is quite unbelievable. My wife and I have seen her live twice and her voice just resonates within the hall she is performing in. As one English critic said: If you ever have the opportunity to see this girl live do so - SPELLBINDING TO WATCH AND LISTEN TO. We are booked to see her again in this May of this year of 2021 but whether that is allowed to go ahead?
Mirusia is a huge talent. Not only is she a magnificent singer, she is a quite beautiful woman. I have never been interested in opera much, but that has changed with Andre and Mirusia. Thank you for all you do. Her rendition of Ave Maria is amazing also.
After my father died there were very few songs that accurately illustrated the struggle in my soul to accept the loss and continue to live, to figure out what to do afterward. This was one of the songs that captured it. A moving performance.
Now THIS is Christine. What a voice. Seriously, I don't think a Christine has had a voice this pure since Susanna Foster in the 1943 film version of "Phantom". Wow. Bravo, Mirusia and Andre!
I've heard them all and Mirusia Louwerse's talent only comes around once in a lifetime. Greatest voice in the world, In my opinion, nobody even comes close. FLAWLESS EVER TIME !
Yes I think she is the best singer he has had ,but of course I’m Australian and I love her voice ,I saw her with Anthony Warlow in Australia and what a show they were marvellous.🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🌹🌹
She is AMAZING!!! Her voice is so sweet and warm. I can sense Christine's feeling of heartbroken. I believe that Phantom would cry when he heard such voice of angel.
Love this version, makes me cry, I lost my husband years ago yet his loss is still raw. I shall never get over it he was my best friend, my love my life. Thanks for such a wonderful rendition. 🇬🇧
The first time that I heard Sarah sing this song at a London rehearsal for Phantom in ~'83 I thought I had heard the best rendition possible, and I have since heard many others sing Phantom but Mirusia sings it at another level. I could listen to her and Suzan Erins sing all day and night.
André Rieu é maravilhoso e a australiana Mirusia Louwerse não fica atrás, pois tem uma voz maravilhosa, um verdadeiro anjo dos céus, com uma voz celestial.
OMG I love Sarah Brightman doing this and Mirusia Louwerse surpasses her...this is so awesome...such a talent. How could anyone be negative about someone's passionate connection with this beautiful song? I know how, but it is sad to point out.
That voice is just something to reckon with. Beautiful rendition of a most beautiful song. And that lady in the audience is just giving us fierceness like no other. Bravo.
