"Heart Attack" is hands down one of the best KPop b-sides i‘ve heard this year! The production reminded me so much of WJSN "Pantomime" and that key change at the end 🤯
with this album vrvr has outdid all their past albums so far sonically and maybe visually as well!! i thoroughly enjoyed every single one of the tracks (WELCOME BACK MINCHAN)
7:52 I LOVE what you said about k-pop intros, there's so many good intros out there but then the rest of the song isn't as satisfying. still nice, but not necessarily as interesting as the intro made it seem like it could be. I feel like my reaction to Trigger was similar to Kevin's, I didn't fully connect with the song right away at all but for whatever reason after enough listens I don't even know when it clicked but it's so satisfying now! I just really love how they're doing each album THEIR WAY and trying new things every time, as it makes me so excited for the next one!
I'm a VERRER but ngl Prom was not really my cup of tea at first, even though I knew that song was specifically for VERRERs. Because it does feel underwhelming to compare with other VERRER song they did like Beautiful-X, So Gravity etc. But hearing the whole album, I realize Prom feels like a nice break because the song has such a light feel compare to the other 3 really 'heavy' songs. And listening the whole album again was very satisfying and now Prom kinda grew on me.

I rarely say this even for my favourite artists but this Verivery mini is one of the strongest minis in K-pop in 2021 (another mini that's also really consistent is Brave Girls' Summer Queens). All the tracks not only have a great hook but is packed with so many layers of drama and energy. Of course, I can only say so much as one who loves listening to music (without the music theory haha) so hearing you guys reviewing the song from the perspective of ones who understand the music theory is insightful. I also love how you paid attention the music producers as well. Much like the idols they too deserve credit in being able to create these wonderful compositions to life. I'm definitely keep an eye out on the composers, especially Strong Dragon! Curious to see if they will continue working with Verivery. First make me screaming out of my lungs and then it started bake me. Heart attack really really full of surprises and it almost kills me every time I listen to it

This ep is really good altho i've listen for many times it still got me and personally underdog and heart attack is such a suprise, like i quite have an expectation from the medley but wow the composer and producer are so genius. And for me prom is so beautiful and cute, just love the fact that they produce and direct this song by themself (talented boys hope and looking forward for more self-composed songs from them), the presence of prom there is like a balance in this album i think.
