Seventeen is known for putting their own color in every song that they cover as if it's their own. That being said, every time groups attempt to cover a svt song, I always hope to see their own group's color in the performance and not just cover the song exactly like the original. I think Verivery did pretty well! Thank you for looking up to Seventeen! Still can't believe Seventeen is now a sunbae being looked up to 😭 So proud of my boys!!

Oh my god i'm a carat and in a weird way i feel flattered and honored that someone is covering seventeen? I mean the original choreography is already a lot of work but they did the original AND put their own stuff in it so i really can't imagine how much work they put into this! I can't believe my babies are sunbaes now :'). For verivery stans i enjoy all of your boys' performance! Seriously there is not 1 boy whose voice i did not enjoy. To be honest, as carat since seventeen debut, mansae songs carry a lot of memories for me. even mansae is still my favorite today. when I knew they chose to sing mansae, I didn't know what to say. This is very touching, maybe only me and some carats understand the taste. unrivaled pride. I will support you, verivery!

Funny thing is, I kept repeating mansae's chorus which is "Mansae mansae mansae yeah" back in 2015 and 2016, I wasnt over how nice the song sounded and it really brought out the color and feelings of school crush. I wasn't even a carat back then nor did I knew the song was by seventeen, I just heard my cousin play it once, and I never stopped thinking about it. I was only 11 when mansae came out and I wasnt really listening to much kpop anymore(I listened to cpop at the time but I was a huge vip, cassiopeia when I was 8). And now since I'm in secondary school, mansae really hits me, I love the song, it's my favourite song.❤

Geeky Artemis they have a pre-debut show called "Road to Verivery" (Jellyfish predicted Road to Kingdom 😭), other than that they've appeared on regular shows like Weekly Idol, but no other reality show

It’s really hard to impress me with a seventeen cover. Bcuz seventeen songs have something much different that other groups. You can hear a song and tell it’s a SVT song, it’s so unique. And the choreo is something I think only seventeen can do PERFECTLY. But VeriVery did really good. This is one of the best Mansae covers out there. Great job!!😇

Hi,maybe there some people who doesn't like how they changed the song and the concept,or the arrangement they did to Mansae song,but as a Verrer I want to explain why they did that and how important is actually:
First of all,Verivery this year has a concept trilogue that is called FACE IT(they have two videos that are call 2020 VERIVERY CONCEPT TRAILER ,this anticiped their comebacks,they already made one in January,with the album FACE ME,the title track is LAY BACK)
So,FACE IT is actually the name of the 90s perfomance they did in this show in ep 1,this perfomance kinda have a feeling of their bside PHOTO that showcase a different side of them(I recomend to watch they DIY MV or Guess WHO? VERIVERY)
Now,this perfomance have other thing behind,if you see in the minute 0:46 ,Hoyoung are showing in the map the word VERRERSIDE,(they talk about it in other song of they lastest album called Paraside,VERIVERY say it's a fan song),it's the Paradise they want to be with Verrer(their fans),so this perfomance it's they wanted to go there and they invited us to do it with them,Kangmin said:Wanna go with me in 3:34,the killing part.
Also,there DIY album of FACE ME,it's called Verrerdise:FACE ME,and the first two pages of the photobook it's a photo of a Ship. (If yo don't know they do a version of their albums why themself,also an MV).
If you see they previous title songs (Ring×3, From Now and TAG×3) you will see that this songs are more bright and they have a cute side,so they pick Mansae because it's suit they voices more.

hi i'm a Carat and i can say that carat will really like this ^^ since Seventeen themselves often cover other artist with their own touch (arrangement & choreo) as if it's Seventeen's own song!
(you can find a lot of video but one of them that i want to give as example is when they cover Mamamoo - Egotistic!)

I'm a carat and I gotta say that adding their touch to the song is what makes this performance enjoyable. When I watch a cover I would nitpick things when they tried to imitate svt stage, but giving a different vibe to this song is making me interested to see what's going to happen next. This is my fave svt cover
don't worry, whenever a group covers seventeen's song, carats always want them to have their own color performing the song as seventeen has done when they cover other groups' song, just at least keep the energy no matter what concept they choose to arrange the song. verivery has done a really great performance with their stable voice and strong choreography, thanks alot for putting such afford to the song, it's satisfied :D

This is a great cover ! Even me personally didn’t know that they’ll cover mansae before I read the title. It brings different vibes. While the original is cutie adorable, this one is more cool and mature. I love it tho ! By the way ..
