LTD5 and LTD12 are two different machines designed for different use's the LTD12 is designed to be used for tile and grout cleaning as it has a pump that will go up to 1200psi the LTD5 pump only goes up to 500psi. But the LTD5 has the more powerful vac motors which are better for carpet cleaning. Hope this helps
Most of my jobs i get by with 50ft of 2 inch hose, this is leaving the machine outside the front door, sometimes if i need and extra 10 feet i'll just bring inside till i get that extra footage then put it back outside. On a job where i know i'll need 75 ft i'll do that without a booster but anything more i'll use my mytee air hog vac booster. always use 2 inch vac hose, the less vac hose you use the better your suction will be. Can you put 150 ft of hose on a portable, yes you can but water and soil recovery will suffer
Well in that video i had 105 foot of hose hooked up and still had good suction, could use that machine at that length of hose just make sure to do extra dry passes. Normally i just park it outside the front door and use 50ft of hose which is enough for 90% of my jobs. Using 2 inch hose is a must though.
Hey Joe, the LTD5 has been very good for me, its a very good machine. I had the previous model which was the M5 which was also very good, so when i was ready for another machine I stuck with Mytee and got the LTD5, can't go wrong with this machine
I had a lift gauge but lost it or i would have used it. The LTD5 was a good machine and served me well, sold it off and got the Mytee Escape with the two LX motor's and there was a definite noticeable difference in suction for the better, that machine also served me well and I liked it a lot, but i sold it off as well and bit the bullet and bought a brand new truck mount
Was this the ltd5 lx?
No it was not
When you run both vacs, does air come out from both exhausts or just one exhaust blows air.?
both exhausts, but I no longer have that machine. I have a Truck Mount now
Where’d you get that vacuum booster?
The vac booster and the portable both come from Mytee
Where do you get your hose from all these hoses I try to find for the cuff lynx have glued on cuffs
When you buy new vac hose they don't come with any hose cuffs or connectors. I buy my hose from wanders products
Which is newer ltd5 or ltd12? Also what was the longest vacuum hose have you used on the portable?
The LTD5 And the LTD12 are two different machines, the LTD12 is designed for tile and grout cleaning as it has a higher psi pump

Jeez man use a lift gauge! The hand test proves nothing! They are like $60!
