    I am a failed carpet cleaner who watches TH-cam videos, recreationally about carpet cleaning, and in my opinion, it looks like there are a lot of people who have taken up carpet cleaning as a hobby. Not sure if they make any money or not but they have a lot of cool shit.

    What were your dry times on your Escape LX? Has your dry time improved on your TM?? what are the biggest differences between the TM and the Escape LX??

    • @kevinjuresich5073
      @kevinjuresich5073 ปีที่แล้ว

      a generic answer to dry times portable vs TM would be just to say the machine with better lift and CFM will win every time, and that being that the TM would win. But its about how you clean as well. Don't over wet with your pre spray, don't over wet with your wand and always do dry strokes. But doing cleaning the same way with my portable and with my TM I do get better dry times with my TM. I ran my Escape from the van just like a TM so i had no unloading and loading of a machine, so no difference there, the escape had auto fill and dump so kinda no difference there either however the waste tank is alot smaller on the escape so sometimes foam would be an issue which i do not have with the TM. I also had to have a separate heater for the escape, i had a little giant propane heater, electric heaters just can't keep up. My TM has a heat exchanger so i no longer had to buy propane and the heat exchanger keeps up just fine. I also don't have to run extension cords and worrying about blowing circuits which does happen. I also had a vacuum booster for long runs which i no longer needed and sold it off. The pumps on TM'S, at least mine goes up to 1000 PSI so i can run a spinner tool for Tile & Grout whereas i needed a separate pump for tile and grout with the escape. Overall i am very happy with my upgrade to a TM no regrets at all, wish i'd have done it sooner. But I will say if and when you do get a TM don't get an entry level one with a 33 blower, spend a little more and get at least a 36 blower, the 33 blower would be equivalent to the escape

    Would you recommend buying this Mytee escape LX brand new or buying a used truckmount? I like the price for ETM and I live 30 minutes from Mytee in San Diego

    • @cleanritecarpetcleaning7091
      @cleanritecarpetcleaning7091 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The price for the Mytee ETM is going to be cheaper then even a used TM. Personally I always like buying new Especially if its a TM I always am skeptical of buying some else's problem, there's a lot more that can go wrong with a TM and be way more expensive to fix and you never really know how well it was taken care of. Not that i'm against buying a used TM but you better know who it cam from and how well its been maintained. I had the Duel LX motor Escape and it is a great machine that you can leave on the truck, I had mine 3 years of trouble free use before i sold it to by a brand new TM. I also had two other Mytee portables the M5 and then the LTD5 both of which served me well without any issues other then having to replace a switch every now and then, but the switches are cheap and take only minutes to replace. Since you live so close to Mytee i'd go with the escape no problem. AS far as length of hose runs i never had to go over 150 feet and even at 150 feet its still good so you could go more if you needed to i'd just shorten it once you did the farthest area's.

As far as how long will one last, well that's up to you, if you take care of it then it should last a long time, i've owned three different Mytee machines now and all worked well and were reliable, only issue i ever had was having to replace a switch or two but they are cheap and can be changed out in a matter of minutes
