So great to see Angelina sing live again, especially with this healing song in troubled times. The artwork she and grandma did for the original release was awesome, but this magnificent video is epic! I think this will rival her other B&W from years past. As usual, her voice IS the music, needing only a piano and cello as acoustic accompaniment. I'm so happy for her successes all these years, and I think she has found a great home at Republic for her talent. Her uncle Michael deserves a lot of credit too, and of course her mother Sara for her protection and sharing her with the world. And we can’t forget grandma Mery for helping introduce Angelina to jazz, documenting her life on video, and being her mentor. One day I'll get my greatest wish, to see Angelina sing in person. Angie’s fans will treasure this performance forever. And to Angelina I say, thank you so, so much for all the wonderful music you have given all of us over the years, and for your humanity for others less fortunate. It’s not just your voice Angelina, you yourself truly are the “gift from the universe.”
Sorry to give such a "prosaic" response to your comment, but… about that "her voice IS the music": it just struck me earlier today, upon hearing her "Wicked Game" for at least the 60th time, that she was literally playing the same three chords over and over and over and over, through almost the entire song. That had never really registered before, since I've always been so focused on her vocal. I mean, I always knew it was a very simple piano part, of course - and I've even used the phrase "three chords and the truth" when referring to it - but I never realized just how _repetitive_ it was! [grin]

The world watches music artists full of platics, digital effects, and sex-focused music videos. Angelina will soon blow up some scales that for people to look at music as the art it was meant to be. Soon no one dares to just sing the way she does, without any amount of sound makeup to mention. Over the years, she will become a legend for the great moments in the world. She has plenty of time. Remember she has just turned 15, which we forget when we see her perform. Republic Records who should also be praised for appreciating this unique talent. So well said, Chad! Angelina has known what she wanted to do in life since she was a child. She set her path to hone her craft with the undivided support of her whole family, who also made sure her ascent wasn't too quick. This gave her the time Angelina needed to mature as an artist and as a person. This song and video shows us that path has paid off. We can witness her growth and also her determination to put out there quality music, meaningful music, in this case accompanied by a subtle, gorgeous black and white video and just a piano and cello backing her.
Chad great to have you return to Angelina's world. I agree Angelina is unique. She is genuine and authentic. Angelina seems to have been on a mission from birth, to sing for the entire world. We angels help as best we can to have our barefoot angel achieve her mission.
With Angelina in the world all is not lost for mankind. She gives us hope. Children should be raised to follow her example of what the best qualities in humans looks like.
Even when she sings live, we can see and feel her Magic 🥰 She promised on her Birthday to see us very soon again. And we know she is creative working when is not present on social Media
This Song is Beautiful it's a Healing Song. I listen to this everyday she is a Fantastic singer/ writer A Masterpiece. Great reaction Thanks please keep them coming.
Angelina sings each song as it was meant to be sung.... with feeling. She does this better than any other singer today. I hope you'll do many more reactions of her and her music.... thanks!
I prefer to watch her of course!!! But the lyric video offers alot as.well..seeing the diary and the art work and her climbing the ladder. All very touching as well. I dont think it is overproduced or overdone in any way. A few small tweaks but hardly overdone. But yup i just love to watch her perform for sure
I IMO, all that makes Angelina who she is makes her stand out above the rest. I think we Angelina fans all feel the same connection to her because we recognize how honest, forthright and genuine her performances are. There isn’t a hint of pretentiousness Angelina’s performances. Her integrity is always front and center. We are attracted to her sweet innocence and the purity of her character in addition to her tremendous talent.
Great reaction Chad, couldn't agree more, She definitely marches to the beat of her own drum & it's a hell of a drum at that!!! Keep them coming, soon a whole album to react to.

Chad, thank you for this amazing reaction with this live version of the new song Angelina's. This is a very sweet and very intense song dedicated with infinite love to the missing grandfather and all the people who have lost someone, but it's also a song full of hope, with beautiful lyrics, especially if you think it was written by 14 years girl. The first version of two months ago is whit the lyrics and the paints of her grandmother Mery, but in this new version she it managed to improve even more, just a few weeks after the original version was released, with little subtle differences compared to the first version and now it's even more exciting and even seeing her sing is priceless! A year has passed since her last public performance, at AGTC. 🤗 ❤️
As always, another great reaction Chad to the Fabulous Angelina. I hope that someday Angelina can perform this song as a guest on a TV show like AGT or The Voice. Best wishes. 💕

ALSO his shoes - first in the house - then later with her by the water ("...I'm everywhere, see everything you do...") ... playing chase as a child - and then when older, running alone ... her smallness when leaning against the strong old tree ... her song being released and rising up to the moon at the end ... ... AND, as an almost startling expression of her unwillingness to accept the loss, that scream of a defiant warrior faced with an overwhelming foe (in this case, the MOST overwhelming - death) ... I mean, who among us is not taken immediately back to our own screams against such loss in our past. I find the Lyric Video to be effects-laden, and even 'over produced' in comparison. I know she's got some filter on her mike but that's about it. The naked cello's whirlpools are pure, tolling us inward, or soaring as the simplest of accompaniment. It is soooo lovely. You said she'll never be alone because she has "millions of fans". That idea of equating fans with… let's say, a source of emotional support, frankly makes me uncomfortable.
