He saw the talent in men that most had been passed by. Pete had an intuitive gift that allowed him to peel off all the outer layers of a guy so he could look deep within because... ..that's where the magic lived. Pete Caroll took a chance and drafted a guy that was "too short" who didn't blow anybodies doors off at the NFL Columbine and who nobody really had heard about. But.... he saw something in Russell Wilson. We needed a great big (but too shirt)cherry on top of that SUPERBOWL WINNING CAKE!! There have been hundreds of NFL coaches, but.... there will NEVER BE another Pete Caroll. We've loved him since he came on board. There was something SOOOO different and unusual about his coaching style. Every one of the players knew he was different. He taught and walked the lesson about positive energy. He taught them that energy follows attention. If you focus on negativity, you will draw tba negative energy into your life, your love, and your career. If you were to ask ANY COACH player on any team in the NFL, if they could name a time, a place or a game, where they saw Pete Carroll kicking Gatorade barrels over and cussing and screaming in an just losing his s**t over ANYTHING? They would all say the same thing... and that would be a big fat NO! And that's because it doesn't happen. Mike McDonald has come to our world, and he's been welcomed with open arms. This was the season for Pete to step back and let the new generation of men take the reins. He's not going very far.... he's going to be right down the hall being an advisor, something he does naturally. I hope you won't say he was "BOUNCED" anymore. His decision to step down WAS HIS DECISION and nobody else's! He will be missed so deeply. Lucky is the player that was blessed enough to be on ANY TEAM coached by Pete Caroll. The Seahawks weren't only coached as football player, they were also given priceless and valuable lessons about life and love, family, careers, and really anything they needed help or guidance with. In my humble opinion, Pete Caroll will go down in Seattle's history as the greatest coach the Seattle Seahawks EVER HAD! So.... Bounce on that!😊💙💚.
Wanting to stay ahead of the youth movement and follow current trends in coaching hires, The Washington Commanders have hired 34 yr old Jay Harbaugh to be their next HC.

Seattle is stacked with youth everywhere and while Geno has fought hard someone needs to come in and challenge Smith for the job. Pete had an intuitive gift that allowed him to peel off all the outer layers of a guy so he could look deep within because... ..that's where the magic lived. Coach Pete drafted a guy who set off the Richter Scale, running 79 yards for a well-earned touchdown! Pete Caroll was the architect of "The Legion of Boom"!
Fantastic now let's hire the Texans OC to run the offense 🎉
Lol he resigned with the Texans yesterday
@@2jyeti909 well that's good if he doesn't go to the Seahawks maybe the Commander's who knows
Wanting to stay ahead of the youth movement and follow current trends in coaching hires, The Washington Commanders have hired 34 yr old Jay Harbaugh to be their next HC.
Let's go!!!!
hold your excitement people jeez... remember the Payton broncos signing...
Phenomenal choice! Even in the Ravens loss with all the mistakes made by the Lamar and the offense, they still held the Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes to only 17.
Next Def coordinator for the Ravens should be MIKE VRABEL former Titans H/C...
plus free up cap space by letting go four running backs to pick up Derek Henry.
As a Niners fans I disapprove. That’s going to bring dem hawks back Damn.
I wouldn't say that as a Seahawks fan I don't think he will be good
NFC West is always competitive, forgetting Arizona for a minute. NFC West teams have been in the Super Bowl 6 times in the last 12 years.
WELCOME to King Seattle WA Coqch Michael Macdonald!! LETs GO !!😂🎉😂😂😂🥁💙💚✍✍
does this mean Minter will go to the Ravens now? or the Chargers?
Oooohhh yea!!!❤❤❤
Dan Quinn would have been a step backwards for the Seahawks.
Seattle is stacked with youth everywhere and while Geno has fought hard someone needs to come in and challenge Smith for the job. The youth in Seattle was always going to get better but all those defensive kids have 1-2 seasons behind them to apply to the system MiMac brings to the table. Hmm Herbert from San Diego? 😂
This sucks bad for Ravens! Was hoping we'd keep him around as fewer and fewer HC jobs was available!
Wow! Nice!
Ravens should have fired Harbaugh and hired McDonald
If he stays healthy, Witherspoon will be a DPOY candidate next season
We don’t know what his offensive philosophy will be. He’s now the head coach, not the DC.
Eisen is missing the point. Carroll talked up defense, but couldn't deliver and yhe team was still almost there. Hopefully this new HC will walk the walk.
LETS GO MIKE BRING BACK THE GLORY!
I’m not happy with this. Nothing against Macdonald maybe he’ll succeed but I wanted Ben Johnson, an offensive coach
I’m a Washington fan. McDonald chose the right team. Seahawks are way better than the commanders. I can’t blame the guy.
I wish Seahawks had taken Harbaugh & Monken, not Mike MAcDonald.
Wake up, Steve Bisciotti ! You need to retain your best coaches and players. How can you let Mike MacDonald walk out the door??????
We are going to be way more Aggressive With mike macdonald as head coach.
The Hawks picked the best coach available
Seahawks fan here, if we're bad next year I really hope we don't fire him. I see way too many owners get impatient. Look at the lions rn, Dan Campbell's first year was awful, 2nd year was good, 3rd year nearly made the Superbowl
Bro just read a recent article on this EXACT subject and tried to pass it off in YT comments as his own thoughts 🤡
@@whatjake7898 man calm down, this is the same thought a lot of people have. My main worry about him is that he's a DC, so our new OC will be a big decision. I'm hoping that we do what some other teams have done and draft a QB with some potential with a later pick, then grow him under Geno and the new OC for a few seasons
Well we signed him to a 6 year contract im sure we'll be patient with him
@@caidenh04 you'd think, but the amount of former coaches still getting paid is insane
Uh oh. Did Minter actually sign his contract with the Chargers?
