Genuinely the GOAT of engg 130, thank you Dr, Clayton. I would have not enjoyed this class this much if it wasnt for your videos. I truly appreciated every single moment. I had fun watching every video. Thank you so much for all the help.
I should of clarified this more so I want to make a note: What I said about it not mattering when deciding to use a horizontal or vertical slice as they both lead same answer is true BUT the integral formulation is different (and not discussed in this course). If you do not know the formulation modification, the best approach is to always pick the slice that is parallel with the axis you want the moment of inertia about (e.g. horizontal slice for the moment of inertia about the x-axis) as the process in that scenario is identical to centroids. Hope this saves you all some trouble :P Also the typos (forgot to square y in two slides and have hb^3 rather than bh^3 in another) are corrected in the distributed notes :)
Thank you so much for everything. I'm a Montreal Concordia student and my teacher is not the best for explaining this course. You made my life so much easier and because of you, I'm able to really understand the class and obtain good results. Thank you so much.
Its honestly staggering just how famous you are amongst all first years taking engg 130. Everyone I know taking engineering unanimously agrees that your online lectures are better than actually attending lectures. I have the final tomorrow and I couldn't be more confidant thanks to your videos. You saved year 1 for us, genuinely.
You’re amazing Clayton, genuinely helped me more that the actual lectures I still would recommend always going to lectures for the example questions but honestly the actual lecturing this is best in my opinion
Hey, Dr. Clayton, your lectures of Statics helped me throughout the semester and I'd like to give you my warmest and heartiest thanks for pulling me through this difficult course. You made this course easier to me in a way I can't describe. You are an amazing teacher and a person as well. I wish my course teachers adopted some of your teaching tactics as well. Again, thank you for helping me through this semester. I hope you live a long, happy and fruitful life. Thank you so much.

At the university of Regina, you are genuinely the only reason I have any hope to pass Engg 140. Wish you could be the prof for every course lol.
