The British staple of so many years the hoover junior and getting rare to find one in such original complete condition.beko1987 and the hoover junior=great combo!
It's hard to believe that this vacuum cleaner is 48 years old 👌 it's Amazing that a 48 year old machine is still in such great shape, they don't make them like they used to 👍
Whilst testing the switch of my failed Hoover Turbopower 1000 for 'continuity' my eyes lit upon its predecessor - an early Hoover Junior, in great nick, stuck in the corner of the spare room!! Its original Hoover belt was fraying so I ordered 2 new ones from a local repair shop and the guy said "...oh, just give us a couple of quid!" I can't see a sticker with its number/date of manufacture... mine looks just like yours, but, with a blue height adjuster? Wish me luck...

They do look nice don't they 😍 But from the videos I've seen they've basically re used 80% of everything from older machines, held together with the sexy new outer shell, so I just know its going to be disappointing in some way... The Billy basic straight suction only version does appeal to me though
I also always look better when I'm wet XD Are you going to remove the suppressor or leave it in there and bypass it? I did the latter with Richard's dark blue 1346A as I've come round to the thought that it's nice to keep them complete and original
Ah I remove them and do a custom wiring job (unless asked otherwise). Looks neater afterwards! Can get a nice tight join on the switch wire and barely see anything!

A grand old lady from the glory days of Hoover being THE upright cleaner to have.
