- In today's video, I show you dyeing my hair from light blonde to dark blonde! I used garnier 7.3 golden blonde box dye. I really wanted to dye my blonde hair a little darker for autumn, so I hope you enjoy watching!

Looks great! Just some important context for people who also want to try this at home!! : White bleached hair has no red tones in it anymore, so she’s lucky she picked 7.3 because it has red tones in it (the number .3 indicates this usually), it is not a neutral or ash colour. If she would have picked a neural or ash tone it would have turned green for sure so be aware! Tip 1, fill your hair with red tones (a red toner or orange semi-permanent dye) before you dye it. Tip 2, even then don’t go for ash hair dyes after. Tip 3, instead of using the developer that comes with the box dye (20 vol probably) you can add your own bought developer of 10 vol which is way less harsh on your already bleached hair! I hope this will prevent accidents and green hair at home!
Would you recommend filling it even with this hair dye 7.3?
@@carabassett6504 I would and I have personally and still it turned a bit green/grey.. especially at the porous parts. I fixed it with baking soda and lemon though. But every hair is different and it turned out OK in this video without filler.. would def recommend swapping the VOL though

@@carabassett6504 I recommend you watch this video: th-cam.com/video/mq6Bi-H3Ksk/w-d-xo.html . I filled it with a semi permanent warm dye I can’t remember what it was anymore. Good luck! And remember be gentle on your hair and you can always fix red and green tones after with some work
So I would highly suggest getting this fixed by a professional. It’s really hard doing different parts of your hair a different way yourself at home…
But if you cannot.. yellow can be toned with a violet toner (purple) to a more white looking blonde. The orange parts probably need to be bleached again to turn yellow and then apply toner. This is all bleach not (box)dye btw. Assuming your hair looks like this cos you bleached it already.. but pls try and find a colorist to do it for you or it might end up worse.. good luck!

It looks really pretty and natural on you. You are right about not many tutorials going to dark blonde that's how I found you and thank you. I bought a couple of boxes of dark blonde but had been afraid to try it, but being Fall I want to do something besides my light blonde. I have light blonde in the top few inches and bleach the rest of the length, fingers crossed it takes on the bleached hair like on yours.

I just came across your video I am a natural platinum blond and have been wanting to go to a darker blond and have been debating for a long time. Because there aren't any videos on it. I have been every other color at some point in life. But I do know that my hair holds on to reds more then anything. Thank you for you video.

Pretty! It's more like a pale beige blonde.
Huge Improvement over the platinum blonde. You are definitely a "Warm" -- so either a Spring or Autumn. The platinum really washes your skintone and eyes out. The slightly darker warm blonde really DOES SOMETHING for your face and complexion! Keep it in this range, it is so much better on YOU!
No she’s absolutely cold. But that doesn’t mean the warmer color doesn’t fit since she also has some contrast.

This is beautiful on u! I was thinking of doing a level 8 on me I am blonde and my roots are grey and brown so I hate going to the salon to spend 190 last time I went! I want to get a darker blonde or very light brown.
Garnier is the best color to use in my opinion. I've colored my hair for years. I always use Garnier. I find the others too strong. And, tour color turned out really nice
if you go over your whole hair again with the same colour in a few weeks time it will take even more to the hair and look even better and wont fade

Have to say I absolutely loved your white blonde, it really suited you. I aren’t as keen on the darker blonde but it suits your eyebrows. It’s almost a caramel colour, it looks very glossy and natural for the winter. Xx

In order to cover light blonde hair it is best to buy products for grey hair. For example L'oreal Age Pefect Hair Colour. It fills in all the pigments into white hair.
How long for though? Did the colour roll off after two weeks washing? If you use purple shampoo even quicker....

It will last a good while even without filler as its permanent and tes its ashy but lovely 😊
I haven't watched the full vid yet but I'll just say the platinum blonde looks very nice on you. It's you had your eyebrows lighten to match the color or a bit darker than the platinum I really think you could pull it off even more.
Edit: just finished this vid now the end result color is perfect! I love it even more than the Platinum! I think it's very complementary to your skin because you are quite pale but slightly sanguine...the natural flushness in your face accompanies your new hair well. I still think dying your eyebrows would really sell this look though-- they're a bit too dark imo but maybe you were okay with it so as long as you loved the results it's all good! I see you have different hair currently too.

Were you naturally that blonde before? I'm about that blonde now from light box dye, but a natural medium blonde... trying to get back to my natural color.
No she's a mousy blonde colour naturally.the white blonde was achieved by using wella high lift tint in 12/81 shade.then this Garnier dye was put over the top of that.
Dark blonde is 6.3, 7.3 is medium blonde.... i'm natural blonde and i hate when people think that i'm light brown!🤦🏼♂️🤯
Even me that im like a 8 the people still saying that im a very very light brown
@@davids1693 if many think that you are a very light brown it is impossible that you are an 8 (light blond) in fact it is the stereotype of blond hair in person, but a 6 (dark blond), which is visually relatively similar to a 5 (light brown), but at the same time completely different, as one is yellow while the other is brown

@@davids1693 So why do they say you are a very light brown? already from 7 you can see the yellow color of the hair well, think 8... only with 6 you can get confused, they are dark yellow tending to orange and seem beige
@@vitonzo-lo9865 Idk but level 7 is like orange yellow and 8 like yellow with orange shades,9 is pure yellow and 10 pale yellow almost no pigment.
Has the colour held? I had bleach blonde hair and tried to dye it dark blonde, it slowly washed out and it’s super annoying I just want dark blonde hair ahh !!
It has faded over the past few weeks, I’m dyeing it again this weekend but the colour should grab and last a little longer as it’s still a golden blonde and less of a white blonde. This hair dye I would redye every 4 weeks and it’s normally 2 for £9 in most places 😊 hope this helped x
