Because making stuff dirty or swearing a lot doesn’t add anything to comedy, I have a lot of respect for the comedians that realize this
I think in SOME cases I find vulgarity and swearing can SOMETIMES add to the comedy. But a lot of times I agree that it doesnt. What I like about clean comedy is that you HAVE to be funny just by being yourself and being natural and the world is so used to vulgarity and swearing these days that when someone can be funny without it, it's a goldmine.
Cause it makes them think about what it means to *actually* be funny so they become better at the overall craft
It takes a lot more skill to be funny and clean. Vulgarity is the low hanging fruit for a comic. Any idiot can be vulgar.

This is literally Jamaica's reality right now because we banned the single-use plastic bags and styrofoam containers effective Jan 1, 2019. Everyone walks into the supermarket with their bag of bags now.

Yes. But its the entire state of CA. All grocery stores, or stores that sell food, you have to pay $.10 per bag. If you bring a bag, you dont pay the .10

We've had bad bans for years in Europe. I don't think anyone ever buys any. Either you brought a bag or you suddenly discover your secret octopus identity, growing extra limbs and fingers to juggle everything to the car, where you turn the boot into a landfill of unorganised groceries...

Zoltan is a very funny guy who sees the absurdity in politics and in people in general, and instead of coming off angry and bitter, he soothes our souls with laughter. Much needed laughter in these fractious, stressful times. Thank you 😊

Must suck to be so ignorant about the roots of this country, to the point that you just can’t admit that the man has done well for the majority of all classes. In some parts of Mexico, south, Central America, France and other European countries have been selling the plastic bags at grocery stores for ages to protect the environment. I lived in Paris, Mentón, San Remo and San Luís Potosí growing up and we always took our grocery bags or sacs as the French call it :)

In California plastic bags were banned, Paper bags cost 10c Each and they strongly encourage you to bring a canvas bag. Costco gives you boxes.

Personally I was assigned to watch the first presidential debate and report on it for my history class. The whole way I had my jaw dropped because it was the first political debate I have ever seen and it was wild

I had to put back like 50 items on the shelf, because the guy got mad at the 10 cent bags and stormed off. And I OFFERED TO PAY FOR the bag and he still walked away.
I LOVED Zoltan's whole persona and delivery. I laughed so many times while watching his segments from man feelings to special needs cats to memory foam beds you can't have sex in, lol. I haven't found many clean comedians who have such fantastically funny observations in a long time...Buying grocery bags in California is gonna be the new "makin' it rain"... bwa ha ha ha

Although I don't live in California, I can say that we instituted paying for plastic bags, and Many elderly customers took out their anger on us cashiers because they had to pay $0.05 per bag. (Literally told how dare we and we should be ashamed that they spend their hard earned money here and should at least get a bag for free, not realizing that having them cost is supposed to reduce the amount of plastic ending up in our landfills). I've been a cashier for 5 years, paying for bags occurred at year 3, and I totally understand why those cashiers were afraid.
I'm always nice to cashiers. It can't be easy dealing with people all day. It's not their fault. They just work there.
