Keyvan is the founder, president and CEO of SoundHound, where he leads the company's management, corporate strategy and operations. He is also the principal executive responsible for SoundHound Inc.’s technology development. With more than 15 years of executive experience as a visionary entrepreneur and a results oriented general manager, Keyvan has played a key role in taking multiple startups from basic concept to profitability. Keyvan has a master’s and Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Stanford University.
Jeniece Pettitt is a producer for CNBC.com at the network's San Francisco bureau. She primarily covers technology and startups. Prior to CNBC, Pettitt worked at Bloomberg TV as a features and series producer. She has also created videos for Discovery Communications and ESPN. Pettitt got her start in television at Plum TV in Vail, Colorado. She holds a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Colorado and a master's degree from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism.

Oh wow that's the kind of AI that i would expect from siri or google or Alexa, i don't understand why they didn't go this route...
I really would like to add an AI companion into my car that i can talk to, be it small talk or for getting actual informations... just like Kitt in the knight rider series.
I started to get into coding only a couple of weeks ago though... but my goal is to get into machine learning.

the big players have to be more mindful about privacy protection and catastraphicis failures that could put them at risk for liability lawsuits.. they have a lot more to lose than this start up. But I think Amazon, Apple and Google will get there.. we already are seeing hints of this with Google's Gemini AI. And an advantage Google's Gemini has it is essentially free for users And it synchs in with google account. And I don't mind google keeping a history of my searches for me.. it actually helps me when i need to go back in my history to find something. This is similar to google maps being able to keep a history of where i have been and browser keeping a search history for me within my account it adds to convenience and empowment.

i'm speechless, the technology seems amazing, but the examples are so boring. AI can and it will be useful when its used 10 times a day. not on weekends when you go out to dinner, or even worse, fly out.
