Awesome. 2 slimmer vents side by side would looks great like on my Iroc hood.

wow looks amazing, probably the best vents I've seen now on the c6 (without replacing the entire hood). Thanks for posting!

If you are worried about heat, you first need to remove those pretty red engine covers that hold a ton of heat under them and cook all those little wires and ignition wires under them... then your project will work even better.

Thank you ..... Sounds good. I never thought about that as they are factory. I would think GM would have thought about that but obviously didn’t. More than likely they will be coming off as the build continues.

    Looks great!
Playing this vid on 1.25 speed saves time and doesnt seem so slughish.

Thank you for watching and the support. It didn’t seem to do a lot for better cooling

I’m going to do something similar but use 2 of them and put them along the sides

Thank you….. I sold the car but are looking at getting into something else soon…. However the new owner loves the car and says it’s holding up like a champ

Cool video bro, im thinking about doing this mod aswell , but im worry about the rains and dust that could do something to my engine , how good has been this working for you so far ? no issues ? any temperature drop difference ?

Thank you for watching. If the drip tray wasn’t installed I would worry about the rain and dust. I never had a issue with dust or water from washing as I installed the drip tray.

Thank you for watching. I just got on SLP website and you are correct….. however I hopped on EBay and saw a few when I searched “hood vent camaro”. I hope you find one if your looking for one. 👍🏻👍🏻
