I love this man! This is a take on icebox cake, my mom made when I was a child. I think it was originally a 1940s recipe that my mom ate when she was a child.

Są dla graczy z wyższymi wymaganiami dotyczącymi wyższej rozdzielczości lub/i odświeżania (monitor FHD 240Hz w brew pozorom wymaga solidnej karty), monitory 4K 120-140Hz to już niemal standard. Coraz mocniej wchodzi na rynek 8K. Tylko w Polsce w ciągu ostatnich 3 lat sprzedano 6 tysięcy TV 8K. To wszystko wymaga mocy i to sporej.

looks very tasty but am not too sure about the tea, could you use maybe fruit juice instead?
It will be a very different flavour profile. Tea is often used to infuse cake and can even be used in a fruit cake. Subtle, but delicious. Let us know how you go either way :)

I'm sure you could use coffee instead of tea as well.

Custard is not the same as condensed milk. It is totally different.

We all love Jamie in Norway, but I have to say living and traveling in East Asia, Japan and Western Asia ( Lebanon and Turkey) , changed my taste and outlook on how we eat in the Western world. One of my Japanese friends that I met when studying at the American University of Beirut ( Lebanon) told me that We Europeans, be it Norwegians, French, Italian, Brits, Germans are incapable of cooking or making dessert without hoops of cream, butter.. Indeed, i understood her when I discovered the fine Lebanese gastronomy and not to mention their pastries : Balloorya ( not sure of the spelling) boy, that’s when you realize how unsophisticated we are in the Western world and how little time we dedicate to cooking high quality food and desserts.
Sorry Jamie, this isn’t against you, it’s just an observation about our Western diet.

One pan or one tin is a joke.the tea comes in a jug the chocolate is melted in an other bowl the strawberries come in a bowl. There will be lots of dishes after this dessert. Stop saying one tray or one pan

What a weird response. It’s one recipe idea for a quick dessert.
Nobody would make it if they first had to make the scones and the custard. And it also wouldn’t be one pan!
If you want people to try something or to give them ideas it’s crucial to think about the audience.
