I’m Black, born and raised in Mississippi. Initially I voted for Gary Johnson in 2016 but in 2020 I voted for Donald Trump and I’m definitely voting for Donald Trump again this upcoming November. The Democrat Party has neglected the black community for far too long. It makes no sense for us to keep voting for the same like we’ve overwhelmingly been doing for about 60 years yet so little has actually been progress. Progressivism has now become regressive.

He oversaw the vast majority of the longest period of economic expansion in American history, passed the ACA, he withdrew our troops from foreign battle zones, handed trump lower unemployment and a much better economy than he inherited from Bush and did it all while being a great role model for Black America. It was not possible for him to be everything we wanted him to be but he deserves exponentially more credit than you acknowledge.

These journalists have to try so hard to not say what they truly think: "but as a black man, you *_have to_* vote Democrat. You're not allowed to vote otherwise, boy. Listening to blacks “US” talk about voting and politics is almost comical because we have voted overwhelmingly Democratic for 75 years while the majority of our people have lived in poverty and are currently still being born into poverty. We will talk politics but never address why we have 75% of our kids who are born in poverty in single parent households, why our sons are more likely to end up in jail than to finish college, why we send our children to failing schools in an attempt to educate them, and why an overwhelming percent of our young people who do attend college incur more debt than the value receive from the college degree. We talk politics but have never embraced as a collective a way forward, so we start having improved outcomes as a race. The interviewer picked her interviewees well. She knew what her responses would be before asking the questions. She went to the local barbershop, College campus, and the black church all places where people in most cases are being told how and what to think. An example while in college I thought it was so difficult to register to vote and even vote until I realized the super majority of blacks register to vote and vote in cities and towns where black people are in charged of the political process. So, why are still talking about your vote, because it is a wedge issue “fear” that is used to get you to vote for a particular party. The question is “what do you get for your vote”? More poverty, higher crime, higher cost of living, which is more of the same, or positive outcomes like incentives to build strong families, incentives to build the skills needed for the future and information on why it is important to avoid debt and build wealth. Maybe more people should focus on steps needed to make their individual lives better while embracing local politics because it will shake where and how you live. Voting in national elections gives you an opportunity to shape all of the social polices that the politicians don’t want to talk openly about while trying to garner your vote. They don’t want you to know the real state of the economy, their stance on immigration and crime, and why it cost so much to attend a four year institution and what will happen to your life if your don’t value skill development and education, but they will push voting, abortion, and LBTQ issues because that gives them an opportunity to make you think somebody is trying to take something from you. I think it is time for everyone to awaken from their deep sleep and start thinking about what type of country would you like for your Children and Grandchildren to live in.
Facts! Bringing up issues on voting & abortion are fear tactics used by democrats towards blacks. Voting is a constitutional right that can’t be taken away so why are we even debating this or using this as a reason to vote for a party. Abortion isn’t a national issue because Supreme Court overruled Roe & left the issue to states. College students will almost always vote democrat because that is what they teach you in school. Many of the textbooks and professors are biased. The clubs promote liberal talking points and as a college student you typically do not have skin in the game. Like that dude said, similarly, once I graduated college and started living in the real world my views changed quickly. Listening to blacks “US” talk about voting and politics is almost comical because we have voted overwhelmingly Democratic for 75 years while the majority of our people have lived in poverty and are currently still being born into poverty.
We will talk politics but never address why we have 75% of our kids who are born in poverty in single parent households, why our sons are more likely to end up in jail than to finish college, why we send our children to failing schools in an attempt to educate them, and why an overwhelming percent of our young people who do attend college incur more debt than the value receive from the college degree.
We talk politics but have never embraced as a collective a way forward, so we start having improved outcomes as a race.
The interviewer picked her interviewees well. She knew what her responses would be before asking the questions. She went to the local barbershop, College campus, and the black church all places where people in most cases are being told how and what to think. An example while in college I thought it was so difficult to register to vote and even vote until I realized the super majority of blacks register to vote and vote in cities and towns where black people are in charged of the political process. So, why are still talking about your vote, because it is a wedge issue “fear” that is used to get you to vote for a particular party. The question is “what do you get for your vote”? More poverty, higher crime, higher cost of living, which is more of the same, or positive outcomes like incentives to build strong families, incentives to build the skills needed for the future and information on why it is important to avoid debt and build wealth.
Maybe more people should focus on steps needed to make their individual lives better while embracing local politics because it will shake where and how you live.
Voting in national elections gives you an opportunity to shape all of the social polices that the politicians don’t want to talk openly about while trying to garner your vote.
They don’t want you to know the real state of the economy, their stance on immigration and crime, and why it cost so much to attend a four year institution and what will happen to your life if your don’t value skill development and education, but they will push voting, abortion, and LBTQ issues because that gives them an opportunity to make you think somebody is trying to take something from you.
I think it is time for everyone to awaken from their deep sleep and start thinking about what type of country would you like for your Children and Grandchildren to live in.
Facts! Bringing up issues on voting & abortion are fear tactics used by democrats towards blacks. Voting is a constitutional right that can’t be taken away so why are we even debating this or using this as a reason to vote for a party. Abortion isn’t a national issue because Supreme Court overruled Roe & left the issue to states. And they have never re-overturned a case in history, so that won’t happen so there’s no reason to argue that in elections!

Then leave with a CDL, welding cert, plumbing, mechanical, ac/heating, masonry, electrical and make 65k to start. Our country was built on blue collar workers and can’t function without them! There are soooo many options the problem is people of influence aren’t speaking on these jobs! Getting the younger generation to see the value in skilled labor has not been a priority, but would provide them with a comfortable life that can support a family without the need for government assistance……Ultimately the democrats nightmare Black nuclear families procreating and contributing to society mean less control over our people….. College students will almost always vote democrat because that is what they teach you in school. Many of the textbooks and professors are biased. The clubs promote liberal talking points and as a college student you typically do not have skin in the game. Like that dude said, similarly, once I graduated college and started living in the real world my views changed quickly.
