Hey there Mike, I really appreciate the design concept and execution of this. I decided to expand upon the idea a little bit with a wood elf themed one. It's a bit busy but I think if it was to be transferred into playable scale in UE4 it could work. I would really like to show you but I don't know how I would go about doing so. I really like your videos but sometimes your workflow feels a little slow to me ^^ Like when you combine objects, why don't you use shit + right mouse button? Also, when you position your objects why do you never use the snap tools (X & V)? A lot of the models I've seen you make in your videos could really benefit from it imho :) But keep up the good work. The vids are great ^_^
***** Hi Scott, sorry I missed your question. It is good practice to delete history of an object when you are done ( with that stage of the model ) The history slows down your system and takes you more time to find things.Mike
Hello, i am beginner. i have to make 5 project and submit it in an animation. can you suggest what should i make? how can i define 5 projects in one animation and i have to define it like commercial or advertising or story telling. so lil help here?
+zikashika flora That's kind of a lot for a beginner, isn't it ? How about this, set something up like a TV quiz show where you have 5 doors and behind each door an object or a "prize" Then you do a commentary asking a question where the answer only applies to one object out of the five and as such be the product of choice. Just a thought ...For animation you can open and close the doors and put the products on turntables to rotate them
Example : Voice saying : Do you need to travel 200 miles a day ? Animation : Open door 1 and show a bicycle Voice saying : Does it rain every day ?Animation : Open door 2 and show a convertible Voice saying : Do you need to haul cargo ? Animation : Open door 3 and show a very small car Voice saying : Do you need to drive off road ? Animation : Open door 4 and show a childrens bike Voice saying : Then this is the vehicle for you Animation : Open door 5 and show a pick up truck
