The Ninja Gaiden's were the first to implement cinematic to games, and what an intro was this from the NES the best. It chills me to the bones, watch it every now and then...also the 4-2 song from Ninja Gaiden the first, awesome song.
For an 8-bit game, this intro was beyond EPIC!!!!! There are games in this generation that don't have the intensity that this one does! I would LOVE to hear a really good remake of the song playing!

Ninja Gaiden 2 The Dark Sword of Chaos has been #1 Game for me since my childhood days... This game is the legendary game from all the perspective in entire 8-bit NES world ♥️
I understand and also loved this game. I owned this one, also the first ninja turtles, and did the same on both. Most of us only had a couple of games, and usually played them to dead each afternoon after school. Memorization is amazing when you are a child. Good times
The sound effects for that series were better on the NES than the one from SNES, played both versions, but I liked the one with the NES better, the cinematics was the best part in all three games, right after a boss fight, there would soon be more all the way every times you killed a boss there was more to see all the way to the final boss... Loved that game series, but I kindda wonder, the main character is named Ryu, but right from the get go on the first game, Ryu's dad is named Ken, I'm just not sure if it's just a small coincidence...
@TsunamiWombat Yes that's true. It is still unknown whatever happened to Robert since he was never seen once the game ended. Also on the third game, Robert was never talked about and he wasn't on the game helping Ryu Hayabusa.
First time i played this was in summer 1996, still i cant get why Ashtar thought it was a good idea that Jaquio was killed when he is the strongest of the villians as well very undeadly???
@@edwardsolaire5672 It was a sad scene to me. Especially when Robert's last words as he was holding them off, dying, "Ryu... Get 'em for me..." As Ryu was running towards the last scene.
