The latest Ninja Gaiden games are honestly unplayable (difficult and frustrating gameplay) absolutely unenjoyable. Nothing compares to the classic trilogy. What you guys are doing is perfect. Cool 3D maintaining the old gaming style. Before I saw this, I always imagined a recreation of the old trilogy. The story, movie cuts, the amazon area, the temple, etc... Although, in my personal experience, this project requires quite a large team. There's a huge amount of assets, characters, environment, landscapes, not to mention the texturing and substance, and we haven't talked about character design and animation yet... Also the programming and music / sound engineers. (you will also want to recreate the soundtrack).
It's not the game, it's your lack of skill. People who play the newer installments say the same about the originals. I'm a person that loves challenges and have beasted NG on all platforms including the SMS. The only NG that I deem unplayable is the prototype for the Sega Genesis and that's just because it incredibly buggy. Get your skills up and you'll find it's just as enjoyable as the originals.
@@MrSilksoul Well indeed we all got different tastes. Now I ask you: Would you enjoy a 2.5D NG game that absorbs the original platforming feel plus full 3D backgrounds (amazing graphics) and astonishing story cut scenes? Just like what Retro Studios did with the original DKC....
it's funny because people said and still say the exact same thing about the difficulty and gameplay of the originals lol, it's pretty cool that the reboots managed to recreate the spirit of the NES games despite being completely different gameplay-wise. calling the new games unenjoyable just sounds like you're clinging to nostalgia and being disappointed that it's so different tbh

Looks great still. Just didn't notice any of the jumping jacks. But I guess they're kind of hard to made. Or are they dogs. Was always hard to tell with the sprites XD but still good
Missing is dog chased Ninja before enter. And the boss was supposed to be The Barbarian with hood and this remake is a punk with sword. Nearly faithful but I prefer nes version of faithful game. Sorry about my English.
man i really hope something like this doesnt make it out of just experimental goofing around. An actual remake like this would be a disaster . The original looks so much better. kudos for making something fun to watch, if not to just prove there is no need for something like this to exist.
Make the main character more fluid and fast. He lookes and acts stiff. Look at the original animation and your animation. If you make them act more alive , then you will have succeded. They act like puppets on strings.
seria melhor se fosse sem muito realismo, poderia ser um gráfico 3d animado ,mais ficou muito real e repetitivo corta as cabeças ,está enjoado toda hora corta uma cabeça , isso deixa o jogo chato e pesado , o ninja deveria pegar uma visão, mais sem ter que ficar arrancando as cabeças dos inimigos, não tem graça , o nes não tem esse golpe,,, os personagens deveriam se materializa ou cair no chão mortos ,ou pelo mesmo poderia deixar diversificados os golpes , arrancar a cabeça é algo que deveria ser um golpe para um chefão ou um especial o jogo tem que ser em gráfico desenho e não real,,, cadê os objetos que ele pega nas fase para usar como armas ??? ficou chato , feio e e sem graça o jogo ,

Looks good, but the sound effects don't fit the game. You probably would've done better using the sound effects from Mark Of The Ninja.
It’s a ninja gaiden nes remake not a mark of the ninja game. Would make no sense to use sound from a completely different ninja game
