I learnt the following little poem at school in the sixties. Does anyone else know it?
Wish, command, necessity,
doubt, regret and shame,
sorrow, anger, fear and joy,
all subjunctive claim
We too had a short saying in the seventies:
"If I had known about the Subjunctive,
I would have taken German."

One thing that I noticed is that you find some French rules very complicated or difficult to viewers. I don’t think that these are as complicated as you explain by mentioning in your videos. I suppose you better say “ it seems complicated but you can easily learn by practice”

Uncertainty? does that mean you can use it to express belief or disbelief?, for example "Je crois que ce ne soit pas possible" instead of "...ce n'est pas possible". I'm glad I'm learning this because I've been using the present tense instead, I don't know if that's OK as well.

WHY DOES IT HAVE TO BE SO HARD!!!????
I'm literally so pissed right now, I used to love French and has a craving to learn it and when I got the chance to "learn" it in my 9th grade I decided to pick French and for the first year is was fine but now in 10th grade it's so damn hard. It's not only that I don't know anything from what they taught me (btw I got 80% in my 9th results) but they also make you memories weird question answers and letters by heart. It's so frustrating cuz it's my mid terms and I have to memorize 5 letters and they might give any one of the five and on top there are Q/A. I just damn hate school since you don't fuckin learn anything

I lived near Toulouse for nine years before coming back to the UK thirteen years ago. I said to a French colleague “Je promène pas le chien quand il fait nuit” He told me it should be “quand il fasse nuit” Was he wrong ?
