You could never find these curtains anywhere. Believe me. You could never. I'm so glad this place is right around the corner from where I live. Can't go any place else for curtains EXCEPT this place. It's unbelievable what she's got here. Talk about something different. For the spring and summer? Brightened up my whole house! So pretty!

This has got to be an homage to the famous “curtain lady” and her unintentional ASMR where her voice is so pleasant and it has that late 80’s/early 90’s vibe and aesthetic. My favorite part was the curtain lady leaning on the plastic packaging where the crinkling sent tingles through my entire scalp. I found an hour loop of the curtain lady on here recently but Maria has a gift with her voice and use of textures and touching to create tingles ☺️
THIS! THIS is my jam. Elite-tier ASMR. I think modern mics don't get nearly as "breathy" and crisp, the Ts and Ss are insanely good on this.

Agree! I think the modern mics make sounds more harsh and less natural. I can't stand modern ASMR that there's whispering and rubbing close to the mic. Just sounds really abrasive to me. I knlw different things for different folks, but I really like these lo fo demonstration vids

This is unbelievably close to Unintentional ASMR which is magnificent. Feels very close to an actual curtain sale room with an unintentionally ASMR salesperson rather than the usual exaggerated ASMR.

I would love to see a lo-fi fixture on your channel. A video every so often with a simpler concept (reading from a book, page tracing/flip-through, item organizing, show-n-tells similar to this video, etc). I still love your detailed roleplays and other videos with the super crisp audio and visual provided by more professional equipment, but there really is just something about the vibe of Lo-Fi that scratches a hidden itch in my brain. I have a list of many of your older videos that I go back to for this reason! ❤
So delightful, Maria ❤ My mother was a curtain salesperson and I used to bus to the mall to see her after school. I would get so many tingles watching her handle the fabric and describe it to her clients. This brought me back to my early teens and made me feel like I was exploring her fabric store again. @@sandee3073 It truly was! Especially because she had this “sales” voice that she would put on for people at work, but never at home. Very confident but gentle and creative in painting a picture for clients as Maria has 😊 The store is no longer there but I still dream about it.

This reminds me of the video Maria did when she was at the medical supply store and going through the catalog of colors and textures and the infamous squish she says and then she goes on to talk about the recliners I think that video was 17 minutes and I don't remember how many seconds but that particular video I will never forget thank you again Maria for everything you do I really do like just listening to Maria just her voice she is so good she doesn't need roles plays or anything Maria you are really good thank you for all the years you have done this and been there youvare appreciated

I was at first confused by the 720p but then I read the description and wow maria, you are a wonder! I adore that you did this. You made some amazing videos back then with your old equipment, proof that you have the talent to turn anything into great, brain-melting ASMR. Also more proof that you could sell me anything.

Been watching the Queen of ASMR for years. My first comment to Maria is that her hand movements are gentle and slow, and she has beautiful hands. Her folding (clothes etc.) videos and her playing with hair and massaging the mannequin head are my favorite.

In one of her behind the scenes videos she showed a plastic dresser thing with a bunch of drawers full of props. It was pretty cool! Edit: as I am watching I actually recognize these “curtains” as backdrops for some of her past videos!
