Yeah I want a six shot but some folks don't. For a holster its got to be leather, suede, neoprene, or nylon. Soft and bendable but rigid enough for reholstering. Quieter and more comfortable than hard stiff plastic. Revolver cylinders have the ability to naturally keep the grip inward so no even more uncomfortable spacers or claws than hard plastic alone. Sometimes old tech is still better than new tech. I do like the nice classic blued finish though over modern metal treatments and coatings.
Although six rounds in a revolver that size would be preferable, if it’s reliable and costs less than $350 with tax, it will do a certain job satisfactorily: turn a soft target into a hard target that the average opportunistic thug will back away from. That extra 1”+ of barrel will mitigate the problem of stiff recoil that .38 snubbies present. If I bought one I’d grind off the hammer spur to make it easier to carry and draw, but that’s me and you do you.
Many already are. The only reason I'm not is because I already have a slew of .38 caliber snub revolvers (and one .32) that I pick from to carry. I'm actually having a hard time resisting the urge to pick one of these up.
that classic look is great... great video
Thank you for the review sir. I appreciate your commentary that revolvers still have a place as defensive weapons. A Merry Christmas to you and yours.
Can't wait to get my hands on one.
I did a galloway spring kit, some better altamont grips, and orange sight paint. Thing is pretty rad tbh.

Legendary
I love the roscoe. Nice little gun, easy to carry. But what are the grip options? I love the wood grips, but would like a bit of a larger grip
The Roscoe is is essentially a Taurus 85, made to look "old school." Any grips for the Taurus 85 or other Taurus J-frame clones should fit.
Hogue makes grooved grips, GET ONE helps with recoil absorption
Nice Revolver! Taurus owns Heritage?
Rebranded Taurus?
I just don’t get why these gun makers don’t serve up these new revolvers with a six shot cylinder, it’s as big as my S&W M10 4 inch so why not.
Almost same like national service side arm in police
Sounds like a paid promotion.
