I found the Tatcha oil too expensive and oddly drying. Now I use Hada Labo cleansing oil for my first cleanse (on Amazon it cost less than $11.00!) and their hyaluronic acid cleanser as the second. I also use their hyaluronic acid serum. It’s a great brand. I’m so thankful TH-camrs like you spread the love on K-beauty and J-beauty. It’s helped me save a lot of money. Alas, nothing works like alternating between DE Framboos and prescription Retin-A to fix the nose area. But I’d rather spend my money on treatments rather than something that’s only on my skin for a minute.

Yes! To everything you just said. Love Hada Labo!!! Yes to getting in on Amazon! Yes to K AND J Beauty! Yes to spending money on TREATMENTS! Great minds. ;)

Elle I can't tell you how thankful I am to have found you. Like a good student I took down every suggestion you make and will be checking all your fabulous dupes out and making purchases. You care so much for us, your devoted fans and those just discovering the magnificent Elle Leary! It is so evident you want us all to look as beautiful and be as healthy doing it as possible. I can tell you put so much love, hard work and time into this video for us. I know it took a long time to research, compare, test, get your detailed notes together, film and present this. So many many thanks and much love girl ❤❤❤❤

Love the Hado Labo Cleansing Oil (Japanese beauty rather than Korean). It is less expensive on Amazon and you can also get refills for the bottle which are very economical. A bottle lasts forever. Hyaluronic acid is a hydrator and only works if you immediately apply an occlusive moisturizer on top of it to seal in the moisture. Cheers.

@@eratocalliope8199 it’s really really good! I pair it with the Heimish green PH cleanse (tube) as my second cleanse, so good. Both last me 6+ months. I’ve just tried the Aurelia miracle cleanse as recommended by Wayne Goss, it’s …. nice, but prefer Heimish balm, it gets more off. I’m almost out of the green cleanse so might use up the Aurelia as my second cleanse. Trying not to over purchase products before others are used up. I have norm/dry skin, 55yo.

I get most of my Korean and Japanese products from RoseRoseShop online. I have never had a problem with shipping or getting items months later. I highly recommend them. Their products are also much much cheaper than most Korean and Japanese resellers. An essence I’m using is the Missha Time Revolution essence which is a dupe for the SKII essence. The snail mucin essence is also amazing!! Mizon has great snail mucin moisturizers for the face and eyes and they are also great. Timeless has a good vitamin c + e + ferulic acid for under $30 which is a dupe for a skinceuticals vitamin c that’s like way too expensive. I don’t know why I haven’t seen more of your skincare videos. I love skincare. Xo

Thank you for the affordable options,,,I was so happy to see that you endorse a couple products that I have been using a couple months...I can say that Maelove glow maker is awesome, and the cosrx products are just amazing...for people on a budget, these items are a godsend for us mature ladies. I have used them long enough to say that they deliver....I do want to add that Missha has a cleansing oil that is beautiful and removes every drop of makeup and has great ingredients at 22.00. And it last a very long time, so you really get your money's worth...I do use retin A, and medical grade products around my eyes. I also want to mention an essence by Missha called the revolution is good also...very much like water and sinks in the skin right away. I am loving the k beauty products now and I was using the ordinary serums. Hope this helps someone reading my comment...xoxo

This is one of my favorite videos, Elle!!! I cannot imagine the time it took you to find and test these. There are some amazing finds I here!!
I used Tatcha Essence for about 4 months, then switched to this duo of Cosrx Galactomyces and Snail Mucin Essences. They really are excellent, and especially the Galactomyces is a wonderful dupe!! I've been using those for about 4-5 months and have had really great results from them. Cosrx is a great, clean, reasonably priced KBeauty brand. They sell some products through Ulta.com, some are in select stores as well. I have also found their Honey Ceramides Cream to be wonderful for dry/dehydrated skin. I don't think you could go wrong with Cosrx at all. 😊
I haven't tried Garden of wisdom, but have heard wonderful things. There's a newer brand, you've probably heard of Peach and Lily at Ulta. It is excellent! Great ingredients, very clean. It more of a mid range price point, but absolutely worth it as well.
I can't wait to try Lumene, thanks for those!!! Always learning about so many great products and companies from you Elle. I love that we try to support smaller businesses in the Elle Squad. You're the best!! 😘😘

I love, love, love the Farmacy Green Clean! It may sound expensive at $34 for 3.2 oz. but it takes just a very tiny amount to cover your whole face and neck that it really isn’t that expensive at all considering how long a jar will last. And it smells soooo good! Elle! I am so happy to see you promote a DHC product! I have been using some of their stuff for more than 20 years and they have some great products. One of my favorite face washes is their Face Wash Powder. Very inexpensive and a bottle lasts a long time. It is so mild on my face and has a luxurious creamy lather. And I was using their Velvet Skin Coat as a makeup primer long before any other cosmetic companies even thought about primers. It’s not just Walmart that have 3rd party sellers who are not always on the up and up … Amazon also fits in this category. After searching for a long time for my HG Vitamin C serum, I have finally found it and it is one I have never seen any of the youtubers talk about yet. I get it from nufountain.com and all they make is Vit C serum. They have several formulations and make it up fresh when they receive your order. It is very affordable and they make it even more affordable in that if you purchase 2 bottles you get the 3rd one free. I would love for you to do a review on their products. It should be noted that there are two skincare lines called Garden of Wisdom. One, I believe, is out of Arizona. And one that I was using I got from Victoria’s Health in the UK. People need to be aware they are not the same. Oh my! I apologize for rambling on … I do so appreciate this video and your willingness to do all the research for us! And I want to thank you for the recommendation a while back for the MUF Water Blend Foundation. I got a bottle of that and I LOVE it! Not full coverage by any means, but I love how it feels like nothing on and does give me a medium coverage. My new everyday makeup for sure. Thank you!

I'm not particularly sensitive to essential oils, but alcohol, phalates, parabens, silicones, sulfates are a definite 👎 👎. This might be long so I apologize in advance.
I live 4 miles from where mass shooting happened last week. I, my family, and everyone I know was safe, but other families lost a loved one. Within 12 hours, we were in escape mode because of fires. Would we have to leave or not? Twice, the fire came within a few miles of our house. We did not have to leave and are safe. When you can look out your front door and practically see the firefighters, it changes your perspective. God bless them. They are working so hard risking thier lives to protect mine and I will be forever grateful.
Watching your videos today just what I needed. Something "normal" that I enjoy. And my skin care regime has taken a back seat this last week😉, so this was perfect. Thanks again for all your knowledge and experience.
And let me finish by saying, yes, some bad stuff happened, but I have witnessed the good in so many people. There really are hero's all around us.
    Take care! ❤

@Margot R I definitely didn't start aging until much later. When I was 40, everyone would think I was in my 20s to the point it was annoying. At 41, my husband and my mother both died, so grief and stress (have 5 kids) definitely started aging me fast. I see it now. But I say start young and avoid sun damage, which I got my daughter on preventative care and sunblock every day by 13/14 yrs old.

Personally I use use the Garnier Micellar waters for makeup removal; the pink cap for my eyes (which are VERY sensitive. I dont use water proof mascara though), and the blue cap (bi-phase) for my face. I had the DHC oil cleanser and it does not fully remove long wear foundation or eye makeup.
