Welcome to my new home. Here's how I went from being brand new to finding a job, a place to live and adventure like you wouldn't believe in one of the best cities on Earth.

Love it! I live in Juneau and try to make it up to YXY as often as I can (3 times this year so far). I love Whitehorse and the people there. You’re living the dream. Hold onto it for as long as you can!
Might be moving up to Teslin/Whitehorse for some work in the new year. Please keep posting more! I'm excited to make the change, currently living in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Honestly, I don't know anything about how immigrating works, but I do know that we have a very multicultural community full of people that have immigrated here from around the world for work and family life. As for finding a job, check out www.yuwin.ca/ and google businesses and industry in Whitehorse/ the Yukon. My best advice, go with your gut, and if you feel a call to the North, you've got to go ;) Good luck and maybe see you soon

Just the opposite! It's VERY easy to get part time jobs here - especially bar tending. Good luck at the college!
