Hi, sorry for late reply... ahhhmm Dawson is a small city and if you are coming from a big city you might get homesick... yes the weather is cold there too. It's a 6 hrs drive away from Whitehorse which is the capital city of Yukon.

Nope brother.. you need to find an employer so that they can sponsor you and that you will have a job offer and got nomination, you will process your visa to enter the country and then when you arrived at the immigration. The officer will give the work permit.
It depends on your current status... if you are a nominee, the moment you get your job offer and letter from education that they nominate you to work here, anytime you can apply your PR.

Hi yhelame epino... you need to find an employer that will nominate you to work here for you to be qualified. But as of now due to this pandemic, lots of business stop hiring for a nominee due to lengthy processing and aside from that in my own opinion employers are not really favor with this new pilot program. They usually go to a close contract as they spent lots of money, time and effort to nominate you to work here. It is easy for you if you have relatives who works here so that they can just ask their employers provided you have the same work experience. However you can try and check online through this website to find a job at @jobbank.com @yuwin.ca or @smartrecruiter.. i am from cebu too bai.. hope I answer your questions.

Yes it is legit as I am a product of Yukon Nominee Program and yes it is true ofcourse they have to prioritize the local as it's thier own. Employees here need to advertise first here that there's job vacancy and that if no ones applied or qualified here that's the time they look for overseas worker... hope I answered your questions.

Hi Jose Joseph.. Yes! Legit yun... However that program is only good when the applicant is already here in Canada. Like if you are an international student who studied here in Canada. It is favorable to the applicants coz you can work 2 different jobs but on the side of the Employer it is not. That program was launched when that pandemic happened to help people who is already here, struggling with thier finances. But coming from overseas, I haven't hear yet. DISCLAIMER: This is just base on my opinion and experiences. If you want to know more, just please check their website (IRCC) coz all of the details is there. That's the canadian immigration
