i'm actually watching this in 2018 LOL. The ideas of using architecture to create a better learning place is something people dont talk that much. Usually its about putting students in one small box and let them listen to the teacher.

This kindergarten just seems to me to be a beautiful way for children to learn. I don’t understand why these classrooms aren’t all over the world. The presentation is great. I wish more people could see that we are part of nature (outside). Not over it. And that children’s play (running in circles too!) is their work of growing up! We are living in the worst of times and in the best of times. People who create like this give me hope. Thank you for allowing us to see and to have explained this extraordinary kindergarten.

This was one of my favorite talks that day in Kyoto! I wish my baby could go to his school. :-) You can even see me in the audience at 4:18 in the grey sleeveless shirt on the left side. So cool!

Very amazing, you're a helpful instructor and I can understand the chords better now, to practice as much as I want. All the 3 ways you shared are wonderful and I'm going to practice with your instructions, thank you so much!

the trees are in mini courtyards. tree doesn't penetrate building....its more building wraps around tree.

i know more folks who needs white noise, the fan or tv on, the sound of ocean / city in order to sleep then folks who can sleep in complete silence.
that's why newborns require white noise machines.
