those waffle heads are amazingly durable, I have a dart zone titan (light command reskin) and twice the darts have stuck up and jam the blaster into what for an elite dart would be goodbye to that dart, but those darts are with the rest of mine and I cant figure out wich ones are the ones who bent because they are still straight, so that would not be that much of an issue @@maplemaple1439
A system that you can just throw the darts in and it'd automatically orient them properly would be useful. And because of how it's designed, I think darts can fire backwards from this thing, so as long as they're all facing the same way you can just drop them in. After grabbing a handful from the aforementioned system.

Reminds me of one of those WW2 Japanese LMGs which used a hopper to load rifle rounds into the gun. Fittingly enough, this seems to by a LMG of sorts as well.
Wait, what's you point? Nerf blasters may have a nice exterior polish but are otherwise inferior to the other first party manufacturers, seeing that they do not perform nearly as well. That's not to mention the half baked designs where only one side is decorated or finished. Great example of an unfinished Nerf Blaster being the Brainsaw.

imagine a sliding system from the dart storage to the hopper to refill it instantely like push the soda can sized storage back, slide the "floor" of the storage frontward, making darts fall in the hopper and boom, 5 second 40 darts refill
I ran out and bought one. The hopper is cool, but to me, the shooting performance is awesome. It packs a wallop! AND, admit it- as a modern blaster, kinda weird looking, but done up in Steam-Punk?.... It's a natural!
You could get many soda cans, attach them to your tacticool belt ( via Velcro)and put darts in them. You might have to cut the soda can before. You can make like a cloth trap door on top of the soda can. Using Velcro. These soda cans could work as the storage on the blaster. But also you might want to put tape where the edges are on the can so you don’t cut your self
In response to your dart-storage woes, you could just rubberband 40 darts together (preferably weak bands so the darts don't deform) and fill a satchel with them. Take out a pack, remove the band, drop them in, and you're all set!

When i was at target for school shopping they had 70 packs of these darts for $1.78.
I bought all they had. They are phenomenal.

@@CarterG4Y the issue with rubber banding is that you have to find the right tightness to keep the darts together but to also not crease them
