It would be interesting if you filmed the process of removing or installing the rear seats. A comparison of the rear seats folded and then removed would be riveting viewing for us Saab gee.......... I mean enthusiasts. Nice chair and foot rest by the way. Happy retro hunting!
Also agree! Even a Saab 9-3 Cabrio is very practical with the backseat lay down. Humor: in the brochure they say that you even can carry a ‘longcase’ clock (grandfather clock) in the Cabrio 🤓
I have 9000 now. And owned a 5dr c900 turbo before it. Im an artist. Both have been great for transporting paintings etc. I must say the 900 felt better suited to it. Did it have a lower floor maybe ?? The 5 door was fantastic access and visibility. The speakers sticking out into the rear space in the 9000 can be a pain. Both brilliant cars. 900 feels more special. But i like the elbow room in the 9000.
Yeah I've always preferred the 900 and personally if I had the 900 I wanted I would'nt treat it quite the same as my 9000 - the 9000 is truly my work horse and I abuse it really.
I was driving and found free hard wood logs 4 feet long. So I put the rear seats down and loaded through the hatch. Also I fit a complete.areo seat set front and rear in my 9000.

Yeah my 900 cab I've used a lot to move stuff around and pick chairs etc !
Having owned a series 1 9000 turbo and classic 900s, they are both terrific cars for which there is no modern equivalent.
I totally agree!

It's such a beauty. I for sure need a 9000 alongside my 9-3 SportCombi. Thx for sharing this one

Cool!
Agree, the spaciousness is wonderful. I, too, remove the seats to shove all my camping gear in my 9000. Has more room than my 9-5 sport combi.
Yes excellent cars, even with the rear seats in it's got a great amount of space.
