you all probably dont give a damn but does any of you know a trick to log back into an Instagram account?? I stupidly lost my password. I would love any tricks you can give me.
Thank you for making this fast and easy to follow unlike other gimp tutorials where you follow along and most of the video they are not showing you what to select and/or spend most of the time making mistakes and leading you back and forth on the steps they did by accident. Very professional and helpful!
After watching some other tutorials on this subject I had been messing around for a few days trying to get the desired effect. After watching YOUR tutorial this morning I got it down in 10 minutes. THANK YOU!
Hello, djsymac Psy-mac. That's a lot of work... respect!! 👏🏻 Must be a satisfying feeling. Thanks so much for posting. 👍🏻Have a wonderful weekend. 🌞Jan, GW.
Thank you for posting this .The pdf is a great touch as well, i love the way you explain the process ! It works great to make a digital stencil effect but if you plan cutting and painting them you would need tgo go lighjtest to darkest in order for it to even show the layers and that produces a odd looking result , i may have misunderstood the title though cheers!
I don't know who can help me, but when I hit clear, the image I traced is deleted instead of the background. Please help me understand what I did wrong
Whenever I try to click levels on the 2nd layer it doesn’t change it at all ? I try selecting none then try them select all and try and nothing the 3rd layer lets me change the levels tho not the 2nd one ?
I have a problem... I can't select the white parts. It selects the whole image an deletes all the white part, so instead of black parts they look kinda transparent, how can I fix it please?
Thanks, GrowingDownUnder, for your compliment.😃 A stecil of a tree... I am afraid not very soon, (sorry) but I will place the idea in my 'things to do' list! You never know. Thanks again and have a nice day. 👌Jan. GW.
Can you add alpha channel then color select and delete the background? I'm new to this but that seems like how you would attempt to remove the background on a tree photo and only have the tree image left visible.
@@donaldrenish41 I think you have to delete the background manually which requires selecting the foreground or selecting the background. If the background is all 1 colour that makes it easy to delete the background just select the colour and click delete and then apply alpha channel. If the foreground contains the same colour as backgound, what you can do is duplicate the image so you have 2 copies then create layer mask. On 1 layer just colour the foreground image in the same colour completely so you're left with just the outline/silhouette. Then select background and remove or you can invert the selection to remove the silhouette of the foreground image. The duplicate layer should fill in the space which has been removed then you can just do the same thing select background or select ground then invert. Sounds confusing unless you do it the hard way by using the paths tool and cleaning up some edges with the eraser
I am so happy I found you! You are the best tutor in this subject I have seen on here and believe me I have watched tons of videos on this subject, so much so that I actually purchased Photoshop early last week before I found you because the others wouldn't tell us what we were clicking you could just see the position of where the curser was so you needed the program to follow along. THANK YOU SO MUCH for these tutorials. Please make more, maybe with a photo like this one so we know how to clean it up to make clear cutting edges for stencil making and painting? The hands are of interest as Im having a hard time getting them to show up. www.pinterest.com/pin/832391943599594613/

Thanks dude very usful
Whenever I try to click levels on the 2nd layer it doesn’t change it at all ? I try selecting none then try them select all and try and nothing the 3rd layer lets me change the levels tho not the 2nd one ?
For some reason, when I click clear after the selection, backgrounds turns white, and not transparent...A bit struggling with that atm. Any advise?

great tutorial. how can I print the layers so it can all be the same size. so when I spray paint they align the same size?
Nice music!
Can it go to 8 layers to obtain a more realistic stencil?
I have a problem... I can't select the white parts. It selects the whole image an deletes all the white part, so instead of black parts they look kinda transparent, how can I fix it please?
Good tutorial, can you do a stencil of a tree? it's hard to remove background in between tree branches
